Anyone else waiting for AF/BFP in next couple of days? Come share the wait!

I'm feeling quite pleased with myself as not only did we give DTD a really good shot this cycle but AF is due tomorrow and I haven't tested yet Normally I would've used several cheapy internet tests by now but all I have in the house is an expensive Clearblue Digi test which I refuse to use until Wedneday morning if AF hasn't appeared by then. We're TTC for no. 2, DS1 is 17mo and I am still BFing twice a day. My cycles are pretty clockwork so Af would normally appear tonight of in the morning. We would love a 2 year school gap so this is our last shot for that as I'd prefer to avoid an August birthday so if Af comes then we will give TTC a break until after Christmas. Anyway...enough rambling...come chat if you're about to test/holding out for another few days!

I'm out, I'm afraid. Af arrived today and devastated doesn't cover it.

Came off the pill (cerazette) a week ago and am waiting (im)patiently for AF to pop by for a visit. Highly unlikely there will be a BFP for me, but you never know.

Hey pink I am ok still no AF and done another predictor test ( Two in the box) and got another bfn. I could see a very very faint line probably a evaporation line definitely not strong enough to indicate anything other than negative. I have read reviews that predictor tests are pure crap though ( clutching at straws). I can't help but get excited, I am going to be devastated when AF arrives.
Sorry to read about your bfn, when is AF due? Maybe you tested to early?

Hi all, can I join please? Think I'm due 14th but not sure because last month was 4 days late & then bled for only one day. Think it might have been very early mc as I'm always regular & lasts for 5 days. Anyway, I'm about 12dpo so will test at the weekend if AF no show.
I've had quite a lot of nausea & always have a mug of coffee when I get to work but now I can't even stand the smell! Feeling quite a bit of pressure in abdomen too so I'm really hoping this is my month. Have been TTC for nearly 2 years with 18 & 6 week mc in that time so really hope it's good news soon.
Congrats to all the bfps. Sorry to afs but hopefully a Christmas bfp is coming your way xx

Thanks sausage! I'm actually feeling chilled out about it all again now. I went and had an acupuncture session and my acupuncturist basically told me to stop being such a control freak so I'm going to give that a go!

OMG MrsC, you're really late then!!! What has the doctor said? You do hear of people who don't get a BFP until they're very late. One of my close friends got a negative on a test done by the doctor when she was a week late. Her little boy is now two. She just ovulated really late.'it can happen...

Hey mumtoacub, I'd be excited if I was you too. A line is a line after all! I hope I can say a proper congrats to you soon. Fingers crossed your AF doesn't show... My AF isn't actually due until Friday so it could be that I tested too early. I really, really hope so. Last time I was pregnant (which ended in mc sadly) I didn't get a positive until my period was actually due so there is still some hope.

Pinkandwhite I have read stories of repeated negatives tests and finally getting a positive but I think they are the exception not the rule. If im not pregnant that's fine I can make my peace with AF and move on....if only the evil witch would stop teasing me and show up! there's no need for this waiting around business!

Me too! I think the plan is to leave it til Friday and test again the 2nd frer test from the pack and if its still a bfn I'll phone the doc for an appointment and go from there. What does everyone else think to that? Never would have thought id be contemplating going docs for not getting af!

I've just counted and if I'm right, you're 14 days late. Is that right? If so, I think you're incredibly patient. I probably would have gone to the doctors a week ago if your cycles are normally regular - that's just me being massively impatient though. I think your plan makes sense (so much more sensible than me) and sounds good - test again on Friday and go to the doctors if still bfn.

I am such a dumbass I scare myself sometimes my last period was 4-7 Oct... Do U want to know where I got the 1-4th from?? The number of days af lasted! Durrrr. I scare myself sometimes and wonder how I've made it to 28 at times. Anyways im 9 days late. Which is still massively late for me. Im going to phone doc to book an appointment for nxt week...if I get a bfp by then well I'll still need to see a doc!

Things are good with me thanks. I think I'm 11dpo today. I managed to resist testing again this morning - there's really no sense in it. AF isn't due until Friday for me anyway. In an ideal world I'll wait until Saturday to test again. I'm not sure whether that's realistic though! At the moment I'm massively symptom spotting. To think that six months ago I was a normal person who didn't spend anytime googling questions about cervical mucus! I've turned into a nutter since then! Do you have any other symptoms at the moment? Xx

MrsC, I agree with pink, can't believe how patient you are being! I hope I have your patience if I get to where you are!

pink I'm in your club of symptom spotting even though I know it's not possible this month. And despite my last couple of posts on here about ovulating, I actually think I'm ovulating today, or so the pains suggest (although I don't think cm is consistent with O). And it is making me feel depressed thinking that I'm not seeing my OH this week so I can definitely write it off. Just waiting for AF so I can start again!

And well done with holding off on testing pink! You will feel so much better holding out until AF is at least due, otherwise you'll just keep giving yourself knocks and this waiting is hard enough as it is! xx

Tell me about it! And its only been since august for me. I just don't think U expect it to take this long and I don't know about U but I've only been on this site since we decided to ttc and its only then did I find out how difficult it could be.
I've got an appointment booked for Monday after work so will see what the doctor says so i will try to refrain from peos until then.
As far as other symptoms, abit spotty, tired, bloated, and random pains/twinges but this could all be classed as af symptoms. I do not have the sore boobs which seems to be the symptom jackpot when ttc!

Last bleed (from a chemical pg) started on 4th october and still no AF it will be six weeks soon. GP has said it can take up to 8wks to return and dosent seem concerned, I however am turning into a poas crazy person!!!

Pink, this is the first month I've waited to test. I usually waste so much money & always end up disappointed so I've upped the strength this month and have resisted. I also want to wait for the weekend so I can savour the bfp instead of rushing off to work (ha ha fat chance!)

I think I'm due tomorrow but am having absolutely no cramps which is really unusual. I had 3 tiny spots of brownish blood in my knickers this morning so put a pad in but nothing since. Have quite a sharp pain on right side every now & again too. Any ideas? Too late for implantation I think so prob af on the way. sigh

Mrs C I was a week late before I got bfp with dd. I've read about quite a few people who don't get positives for a while. Fingers crossed x

Lucy I've had an 18 week mc, a 6 week and a possible chemical last month (only bled for one day, had no af but not too sure) and have always got af the next month. I think it can take longer but I'd be surprised after a chemical because they happen so early. Are you normally regular?

I think I'm out for this month - despite a BFP on Monday I've started bleeding and cramping so awaiting the results of bloods to monitor how hcg levels are tracking - todays levels were 37 at around 4wk pg. I expect that by Friday they'll have dropped.

That will be 2 mc's or chemical pregnancies within 6 weeks - no fair!

Grizzer, yes normally 28 days! Got my bfp 6 weeks after coming off bc so pretty quick. Now Im wondering if something is wrong for it to take this long to get AF? I do have random side pain which discussed with GP and they will refer for scan re possible cyst but surely this wouldnt affect AF?

Sorry to hear about your previous losses too. Ttc can be so mean at times.
