Anyone else waiting for AF/BFP in next couple of days? Come share the wait!

I'm feeling quite pleased with myself as not only did we give DTD a really good shot this cycle but AF is due tomorrow and I haven't tested yet Normally I would've used several cheapy internet tests by now but all I have in the house is an expensive Clearblue Digi test which I refuse to use until Wedneday morning if AF hasn't appeared by then. We're TTC for no. 2, DS1 is 17mo and I am still BFing twice a day. My cycles are pretty clockwork so Af would normally appear tonight of in the morning. We would love a 2 year school gap so this is our last shot for that as I'd prefer to avoid an August birthday so if Af comes then we will give TTC a break until after Christmas. Anyway...enough rambling...come chat if you're about to test/holding out for another few days!

My first ever 2ww as despite trying for dc4, all our other pregnancies have been 'surprises'
I have had symptoms galore since ivulation. My cycle is usually about 32-35 days but on day 27 I had v light pink and light brown spotting so I thought 'yay! Implantation!' But then the following morning I started bleeding massively whixh was really heavy for a day then tailed off and by day three it was almost non existent am pale pink , and now on day 4/5 it's a pale brown 'smudge'. I had an early v faint bfp bit now all bfn so assuming I had a chemical pregnancy/v early mc??? Was far too early for af and was just different in length and flow. So if it was cp will I now have usual ad as well in couple of days or will I still ovulate in a week or so ?? Confused! But also hopeful that I can still get pg and maybe next month will be the one!

Vjones - I know what you mean about testing depending on how long you can wait! I almost did a test this morning but managed to stop myself. I keep changing my mind about when to do it...

I think I've written my 2ww this month. I'm only on my first proper ttc cycle after coming off the pill and I was working along the lines of having a 28 - 32 day cycle (last cycle was 32 days). I had thick creamy CM over Wednesday/Thursday of last week then very watery discharge and lots of it on Friday back to nothing over the weekend and now I'm having white thickish cm. So I have either not ovulated and I'm not going to, or I'm still yet to ovulate. If I am still yet to ovulate and I am going to be having another 32 day cycle, then I'm goingt o miss ovulation anyway with my OH working away so I'm just writing this month off but will have my fx for everyone else!

Hi sausage, sorry to hear that you think you might miss ovulation. Would you think about investing in a digital ovulation predictor? It takes some of the annoying guess work out of it. Also, I read somewhere that you can get watery cm rather than ewcm when you're ovulating so you may not have missed it at all. Good luck.

As it is only our first month of ttc I am trying to be quite relaxed about it (obviously failing miserably!) so want to wait a a few months before investing in anything, plus, as I don't live with my OH yet and he works away quite a bit, it would add to my stress if I knew for definite that I was ovulating but there was nothing I could do about it. We are moving in together in a few weeks so my position on that might change!

Hopefully that's the case with me! I'm going to try and not think about it for now and if nothing happens then I won't be disappointed and if it does, the it'll be a surprise!

Hey can I join? was due AF over the weekend it was a no show but got a bfn today on a early predictor test. Not sure what's happening just sitting it out until AF appears (or hopefully, by some miracle it doesn't) wishing everyone positive results x

Can I join too. My af is due on Wednesday. I did give in and test today with cheapy dipsticks and nothing although yesterday thought was a mega, mega faint line (nothing today) am 12 days post ov today.
Boobs hurt and have had major heartburn since ov. Ewcm worse in mornings for about the last week and temp 98.2 - 98.6. (Have not been charting just taking random temps, I know that prob means nothing but so trying to read signs).
Will test again tomorrow and pray for a positive.

pink I'm trying to wait until at least Wednesday, Thursday if I can... In a perfect world I would wait until I am actually late but I couldn't manage that. Anyway, not entirely sure when I ovulated!

My AF due today/tomorrow.....i'm convincing myself i'm not pregnant so I can cope with the disappointment. Not testing until Wednesday.

Vjones - I'm thinking of testing tomorrow. I've been feeling nauseous but I'm worried I'm somehow making it up. i want it so much i wouldn't put it passed me to start having imaginary symptoms! I'm not exactly sure when i ovulated either. I got a smiley face on a cb digital on Thursday 31st so sometime in the 12-36 hours following that I'm guessing/hoping. We dtd a lot around that time so fingers crossed!

pink I know that feeling so so well. And I'm guessing I ov'd on cd15/16 because my ewcm dried up on cd16. I'm now cd26.

Wow we really are in the same boat vjones. I'm also on cd26 today. I didn't get the smiley until cd16 though so it was probably cd17 at least before I ovulated. I just keep thinking how lovely it'll be when I'm able to look back on this time and wonder what I was worrying about (because I'll have a baby by then). It would be nice if our wee just changed colour or something like other posters suggested earlier on this thread!

I guess if I ov'd the day after ewcm dried up, then I would be the same dpo as you now.

That makes sense VJ. That prob is when you ov'd. I really bloody hate all this guessing/waiting!

But if that's when I ov'd, it's the only day that we didn't dtd so that doesn't fill me with joy.

So was due yesterday, did a clear blue digital, neg - but still no AF.
You can normally set your watch by my cycle so wtf is going on arghhhhh

VJ - don't they say the best thing you can do is have sex in the few days before ov? I reckon you had it covered if you dtd on your ewcm days.

I think it's going to be a long couple of days.

So I did a test this morning and got a BFN. I'm feeling really miserable now. I'm 10 or 11 dpo. I need to find ways to distract myself now.

Last period 1-4th October and 3bfn plus a free bfn this morning! Just wish AF would show as at least id know where I am with it all....this ttc business is so frustrating and it's not as if we've been trying long! :(

Hi MrsC, it is bloody frustrating isn't it! How long are your cycles normally?

pink try not to feel down, it could be too early yet, maybe set yourself a target to the weekend and then test again. Everything crossed for you!
