Pre-seed - any reviews/experiences?

Just that really, has anyone used pre-seed and what did you think? Heard mixed reviews...

I've used it this ovulation window for the first time, so I can't comment on whether it helps with conception or not...yet [smiley].

I found it very easy to use. On the downside, there is no polite way of putting this, I had some...leakage a few hours after using it.

The way I see it, it cannot harm and it's not expensive, so why not. Help those boys swim!

Yeah thats kind of what I'm thinking!! I've read rave reviews about people using it for the first cycle and got pregnant...but who's to say it was pre-seed that made that happen...but also, who's to say it wasnt?! I've ordered some online - worth a go surely. Do you think pillow under bum helps those little swimmers??!! Thats something else I've been doing, my OH thinks I've gone mad...

Be careful about pillow under bum when using preseed. Unless you like sleeping on a wet pillow

very true...help them along their way. Just wish they'd find their way a bit quicker so I can gain some of my sanity back!

We tried all that but typically it looks like the time that worked was a drunken night where I forgot all my ttc tips!

Yes - just had the 20 week scan! It took about 7 months and I was starting to think that I should go and get checked as I am getting on a bit but then I was late and it was positive. Happy days! Hope you get your BFP soon x

We used Conceive Plus for 3 months and got nothing. Switched to Pre Seed on month 4 (which was month 5 of TTC) and got a BFP! Can't say whether it's just coincidence or whether it actually helped but I'd say it's worth a try! I was also a crazy "legs in the air for 15 mins" kind of girl on the month I got preg (DH thought this was hilarious!) so that may have helped too! I'm now 10 weeks and on the countdown to my dating scan. Good luck!

We got a bfp the first month we used Balance Active Conceive (basically the same stuff). But I also had acupuncture for the first time that month, ate pineapple core for the first time and followed a high protein diet for the first time.

So no idea which or any of those things made a difference! Was our 12th cycle so something must have done it!!

Faster...massive congratulations!!! I'm hoping too...its very early days for me, but after spending the last 10 years with my OH trying not to get pregnant and the mere thought of starting a family terrified me...and now we have made the decision, I need to to happen like yesterday. So going at it with full gusto (so to speak) in the hope that it will happen rather quickly...x

Used preseed after 12+ months of bfn. 1st month of trying with preseed =bfp! Took about 6 months with preseed to get my second bfp. Well worth trying it IMO.

Wow very positive posts here, so positive in fact that in addition to the rave reviews on amazon (of all places) I have travelled around chemists this evening to get some ready for dtd later and tomorrow!! I'm so impatient!! Thanks for sharing the positive stories everyone xx

I tried to get some yesterday but our supermarket/ chemist didn't have any... They didn't even know what I was talking about!

Hyland they sell it on amazon if you are patient enough to wait for delivery. I get free next day delivery with amazon prime but thats still not fast enough for me! I found some in a chemist about 20 minutes away from where I live ha ha. Will use it later during dtd and will let you know how I get on (minus any TMI details)...x

I don't care about tmi lol providing it helps me get the end result lol

Ok, will give a full and frank report tomorrow when I get home from work...going to bed shortly to dtd...preseed at the ready in the bathroom!!

Fx crossed its not too 'messy' or 'fidgety' that it can't be kept up with and we can use it every time.

Ha ha good luck, we're starting up again tomorrow with it being the 9th day and hope to continue every other day for at least the next 3 weeks.... Easier said than done when we're both at work 6 days a week !

Thanks - I'm hoping it helps. My problem is that we are dtd that often that I'm getting a little sore shall we say, so I'm hoping this helps a little x

See, I don't know about it's helpfulness for conception but DH really hated it, because he said it made everything too - er - juicy and it didn't feel right. So we gave up on it.

Used it, found it fine other than the instructions seem to tell you to use a lot more than you actually need unless you want to be sliding out of bed
