Dinky really glad DS op went well :) most times parents are more stressed than the child in these situations! Children are so resilient....where parents are just emotional wrecks!! haha! Well I am anyway!!

Imaginary best wishes for the GP app today!!! Can not wait to hear! Really hope it's good news! :)

Choccy....nooooooo!!!! not the spotting! I hate the spotting!! Hope its not the beginning of af! What dpo are you?

Lucy, I'm sure your so frustrated waiting around for af or bfp or something! Hugs to you, hope your body gets back to normal ASAP! Limbo is the worst!

Jessie also hugs to you, waiting around for something to happen, I just hope a little miracle happens for you!

Well not much to report here, have a lunch time session planned with DH then another tomorrow morning first thing.....then it looks like I'm in to the crazy 2ww!!!! eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk!!!!

Onelife where are you my lovely?? Anything to report? I've been thinking and wondering about you! Are you in 2ww?

mama31 · 05/11/2013 07:56

Dinky also, can I ask what your previous name was on this thread?? I'm just curious....and very nosey! haha!

Choccywoccydodah · 05/11/2013 07:59

8dpo so fucked off. Has been around 7/7.30pm 7dpo last 2 cycles so not much different.
Going to go to the drs if af comes full flow this time. Something isn't right.

DinkyMole · 05/11/2013 08:02

Sent you a PM mama. Trying to avoid a stalker!

mama31 · 05/11/2013 08:03

Choccy how long would it be before af full flow from the spotting?? I get spotting from 10dpo and I contacted the GP, that's why she's bringing me in for cd21 blood test just to check there isn't anything going and she wants to check my thyroid as well. So maybe a blood test would put your mind at rest also!

I know it's so horrid when that starts....i really hope it's not the start of af choccy!

Choccywoccydodah · 05/11/2013 08:17

Last month spotting started 7dpo evening, then full flow 2.30am of overnight 11/12dpo
Been looking back at FF and the spotting wasn't a lot and only a couple of times a day.
Just been reading about thyroid thing too.

Dinky, were you beginning with H?

OP posts:
DinkyMole · 05/11/2013 08:34

Yes I was. DFs exW likes to read about what I'm up to Hmm

PinkHat1 · 05/11/2013 08:41

Congrats to all the BFP so far this really is a lucky bus!
Can't imagine how you're feeling Jessie and fx things turn out well for you.

Englishteacher when are you off to S.Africa? I'm going in January for my honeymoon too counting the days!!

Missvaughan85 · 05/11/2013 08:43

Oh choccy!!! I so feel for you!!! Your not wanting it to come I'm wanting it to come!! Or something!!! Had vivid dreams of bfp's last night but was too chicken to test this morning!!! I'm making myself promise to wait till Friday!!! It's bit long!! Is it?? X x

ImaginaryHat · 05/11/2013 08:43

Choccy really sorry about the spotting, hopefully its not af on her way.

Managed to get a 'come down and wait' appointment for lunch time, receptionist tried to fob me of with 'bring down a urine sample' so I told her the whole story, not that she cares lol, and she said cos I'd had nausea I can come down and see a doc. So hopefully I can ask him/her for a blood test. Does anyone know how soon Id get a result? Thanks for all the good luck messages I will report back this afternoon.

Enjoy your lunch time sesh mama!

Missvaughan85 · 05/11/2013 08:44

According to last period I should be five weeks. So I'm hoping I'm bit producing enough hormones for tests!! But I think it's highly unlikely!!!

ImaginaryHat · 05/11/2013 08:53

Missv sorry you're still in limbo, I'd be testing twice a day if I was you but probably best to just do every other day or something so you don't send yourself mad.

Jessie hope you are doing OK this morning x

Sorry, that sounded really out of order, just so so so pissed off right now and just saw an advert that sparked that comment, sorry.

It's infuriating Choccy, I'm not surprised you're pissed off.

Adp007 · 05/11/2013 10:30

Morning everyone. Lots of people talking about lots of cm when preg but my question is has anybody experienced none at all when actually preg? AF due on third and normally there's quite a bit two days before- been dry as a bone for a week now? Could tht be a sign??

Adp007 · 05/11/2013 10:31

Sorry-predictive text. AF dues on Thursday!! Not 3rd.

LH1981 · 05/11/2013 11:29

Wow imaginary!! that sounds like you are def preggers! If it was an early miscarriage, hcg would be going down not still registering? Get yourself off to gp pronto!! A lot of women still have periods throughout pregnancy, it's quite common, or like pp, could be implantation (although implantation is normally light and very dark/brown in colour.

Well, I think I may be in the same boat as Jessie (hope all is ok Jessie - sending positive vibes). Very very faint line this morning with a Sainsburys. I'm gearing myself up for AF as hcg should have gone up enough to properly register by now. Not going to go to the gp, just wait it out for a week or so.
Please can someone take me off the bfp list at the next update? Sad
xx

ImaginaryHat · 05/11/2013 11:48

LH sorry you don't think it's going to work out this time for you, I hope if its not good news that you get your sticky bean straight away next time of trying Flowers

Just back from the gp, she says it would be v unusual to be pregnant (properly) with having a heavy period. I'm back in the morning for blood test which will come back thurs to Fri. If its positive she wants to send me to gyne for a scan as she says it could be an eptopic pregnany. She says it would be too early to pick up anything on a normal early pregnancy scan but shed like to be cautious and get my tubes scanned just in case. She was lovely, just not what I was hoping to hear. To be honest eptopic was something that had crossed my mind last night but then so had about a thousand other scenarios. A waiting game I guess.

Karmalaa · 05/11/2013 11:53

LH i really feel for you, this is a horrid time. When I mc last month the test lines never got any darker over 4 weeks, and the clear blue digi kept saying 1-2 weeks. If it's not right, it's not right and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. We just have to pick up and try again, sticky beans are out there for all of us I'm sure of it.

I'm 9DPO on my first cycle since the mc and I'm trying to stay super positive without talking myself into "feeling pregnant"... is that metal i taste?

ThisIsMeNow · 05/11/2013 12:12

I'm sorry to hear how things are going for a few of us on this bus. I would never want to take away from anyone's experiences but I've (personally) always believed that a bean that doesn't stick wouldn't have made it and I'd rather it went peacefully and early than be put in a position later on where I had to make decisions. I really don't want to offend anyone and I hope I'm not talking out of turn. I know it's hard but maybe there's a tiny positive side?

Karmalaa · 05/11/2013 12:21

I can only speak for myself and my experience but I totally agree with ThisIsMeNow I knew I was mc before i got my blood results and I also knew I just had to see the positive side (i tend to dwell if not). I'll be really honest, my positive side was even a bit blunt - excellent, my tubes/ovaries work, eggs are there and DP swimmers can get the job done. I also don't want to offend anyone, this was just my experience and how I coped with it; we're all different but equally strong.

LH1981 · 05/11/2013 12:29

No offence taken on my part. I had a mc at 11 weeks a couple of years ago and even though it was sad, I looked at it like it must be for a reason, there was something wrong with the embrio. With two other children to think about, I think I'd (personally) not be able to deal with a child with a severe disability, plus the impact of what that would mean for our family.
Again, just a personal view and everyone is different but, like pp I think I'd rather it happened now than later down the line.
Still sucks arse though.

Imaginary - so sorry to hear what the gp said, it must be so confusing. FX it's not ectopic - will that mean surgery if it is?

MundayCakes85 · 05/11/2013 12:30

Imaginary- sorry to hear about the possible ectopic. They'll do 2 hcg tests 2 days apart to measure the levels. They should double every 2 days. The GP will be able to access your results the following morning so hopefully you won't have to wait too long.
I work in an nhs lab- so know what happens. FX for you getting some answers soon x

mama31 · 05/11/2013 13:16

Awh imaginary and LH I just don't even know what to say as I can't even imagine how you are feeling! Just know we are here to support you through everything and you are entitled to rant, rave, cry or do whatever is needed to help you along over the next few days; we are always here for a chat and a pick me up!!!
