Insanity workout when TTC

My sister is getting married at Christmas and I want to lose about half a stone for it.

She's started doing the insanity DVDs to lose weight and says I should join her.

I'm currently on my third cycle of TTC ( she doesn't know this) and am not one that normally exercises.

Would I be daft to start the workouts whilst TTC or would it be ok?

These vidoe's are very hard, if you don't normally exercise then I wouldn't really recommend it.
Although I think you should be doing some sort of exercise. Maybe you could join her but not put as much effort into it to begin with.
Maybe you could try it on the first half of your cycle and during/after ovulation ease up, that's what I try and do with exercising

I know when I first done the video I ached for about a week.

Hi. I've never done the insanity workouts but I do high intensity interval training (ive been ttc for 12 months) and do not believe that this has any kind of detrimental effect on getting pregnant, if anything, exercise is a positive thing.

Maybe you could ease yourself into the exercise by just doing 20mins or whatever and then increasing the amount you do every week? The only time I would say to use caution is if you were already pregnant. Hope this helps!

As with most exercise, the guidance is to exercise while ttc but try not to start anything new or drastically increase the tempo. So I would say, try to start it in the first half of your cycle rather than the 2ww and just stick with that or an equivalent form of exercise.
