have we missed our chance?

I'm cd 10 and have only dtd cd5. Since cd7 I've been getting ewcm but I've just checked and it looks as tho it's drying up already. I did an opk earlier and it was negative.

I usually ovulate between 12 and 14 cycles are 27-29 days so pretty regular.

Any thoughts?

Ewcm can come and go throughout your cycle, it's possibly that you ovulated really early this time but quite unlikely if your cycles are usually regular. Keep up the opks, I think you'll get a positive in a couple of days!

Thanks, I hope we haven't missed it. Hopefully we will get some time today! When I have got a + in the past its happened on cd 12&13 and the odd occasion 14.

I'd say try to dtd a couple of times over the next few days. Don't give up hope, it's certainly not clear whether you've already ovulated, so it's important to dtd regularly until it is certain. I think focusing too much on opks may be a mistake here - They will not get you pg! Dtd might, however, so focus on that instead

Yay managed to squeeze a shag in!! And still getting ew so feeling a bit more relaxed now.

From everything ive read the best thing to do is have sex as much as you can before ovulation because sperm can live for up to 7 days so your more likely to get pregnant that way rather than doing it after a positive opk the sperm form previous days is more likely to get to the egg way beore the other sperm as it takes a while for them to swim up to the egg anyway and by that time your egg could have already dropped and gone ..good luck x
