I know a couple of people on here have had it. I've just signed up for mine.

How did you find it? Our clinic is on the other side of London - will I be ok to get home by public transport, do you think?

BTW, I have straightforward pretty painless transfers so the catheter bit shouldn't be a problem for me.

Hi euro Smile I found it ok, possibly 10 seconds of pain and then went back to work that afternoon with no ill effects. I'm having another one done in 10 days time and then a tube and train journey home from a London clinic -I'm at LWC. Hope you're doing ok.

Thanks choco. That doesn't sound too bad. I hope they run on time so we don't end up clashing with rush hour.

I guess you are cycling again then. Hope you are doing ok too.

I had this an a biopsy sample taken then drove home 100miles immediately afterwards - it was fine, no worse than a smear test.

Thanks, that's reassuring.

I absolutely hate drs and medical procedures so anything new tends to freak me out. I'm fine once I have had it once.

Take a pad with you, you might bleed a little (only spotting) afterwards.
