Hi I'm new to this, not sure what any of the abbreviations mean yet, lol but I'm needing some advice..basically I'm 37 and for the past two years have had periods that last for weeks. In the past I'd had lots of bad smear test results so immediately this was checked out. Had scans and blood tests and didn't really find an answer. I came off the pill in January as thought this might be the cause (had switched me from marvelon to cerrazette) but tho it made my periods more regular (ie they didn't last for 5 months like one particular period had!) they still last a long time. On average they last 3 weeks with a 10 day break in between. I had an op last month to remove a polyp the docs thought they had found but when they got in there, there was nothing there. My question is this: will it even be possible to get pregnant?? Has anyone else had this problem and been trying to conceive at the same time? I appreciate any advice anyone can give me :-)
