Implanon Removal

needing a little bit of advice on a few things!

I'm 18 and I got the implanon removed on the 17 of this month, I've had it for about 2 years and I never had my period whilst on it.. ah the day before I got it removed i slept with a guy, I heard that sperm can live inside for upto 72 hours?

the other things is 2 days after I got it removed I slept with my now boyfriend unprotected.. I know it was stupid and everything, about 3 days ago I got my first period and it only lasted a day..

what are the chances I'm pregnant? because I'm really hoping I'm not!!!

Sperm can live outside of the testicles for up to 5 days, but bearing in mind that only 50% of women ovulate within the first month of having the implant removed, and that an egg only lives for 6-24 hours after ovulation, the chances of you being pregnant are very slim indeed. The period you mentioned was likely to be a withdrawal bleed instead of a normal period, you'll probably find that your cycle will take a few months to regulate itself again, especially if you've not had a period for the whole time you had the implant.
Like the previous poster said though, the only way you can be certain is to take the test. If it's negative, wait a week then test again just to be sure.

hey! thanks girls I think it's been about 2-3 weeks now so I'm gonna go down to the shop and buy a test!
