Me and hubby are ttc. There is a dilemma I have.

Going to sound really silly but. We have decided which pram ect we want.

The specific one has just been discontinued and is going for a bargain price anyway. Then kiddiecare now have 15% off this week and quidco cashback is up to 7.5% cashback.

I know I might not be pregnant yet (on 2ww) and yes I am aware of all the things that can happen anyway,
But me an hubby have just got new job stability and a bonus this month at work so there is the extra money to make a big ish purchase like this.

Is it silly of me to even be thinking of buying this now? Btw myself and my mum have large loft space so it can be up thee till whenever.

Have not been on this site for years!! ttc no.3 so back reading everyday (slightly addictive).
We did buy our pram for no.2 before I was pregnant as it was exactly what we wanted. I did find out I was pregnant the following week so all was good.

I would not buy a pram till at least 20 weeks pregnant. Kiddicare always have special offers on them so you are bound to get a good deal when you are actually pregnant. If you buy when pregnant then the 12 month warranty only starts on your due date.

Blimey. I wouldn't. And it's a good job I didn't. If I had bought one in the first months of ttc it would have spent years gathering dust.

Buy your pram once you are pregnant. I bought mine when i was around 5 months pregnant. Good luck with TTC!

RaRa1988 · 27/10/2013 15:21

I wouldn't. At best, it'll just get in the way. At worst, if you struggle to conceive, it'll be a constant reminder of what ain't happening. Wait until you're pg - there will be plenty of offers then too.

It's so tempting and even more so if it's being discontinued but personally I wouldn't until I was pregnant.
There will be lots of prams and offers on when the time comes.
Good luck!

Don't do it. It's far too early!

Feelingfatty · 28/10/2013 18:37

I've been ttc no2 for a year now! So no I wouldn't as it would be even cheaper when you could/will need it as it could be another year older! Plus how depressing having a pram in the loft you don't need Confused

Thank you for your opinions :)

Really!? No way! I'm 15+3 and just ordered mine and I feel really early doing it so I'm only having it delivered when I'm 35 weeks.

Tea1Sugar · 31/10/2013 14:42

Out of interest though which pram is it?!
