Is it safe to ttc if your DH is taking Zyban?

Hi everyone

Just wondered if anyone had any knowledge regarding the drug Zyban. My DH has just been given a prescription to help him quit smoking. The nurse has said there are no contra-indications for him taking it if we are ttc but in the leaflet you must not take it if you are a woman who is ttc or pregnant but does not mention anything about men taking it and ttc.

Does anyone have any experience of having conceived whilst their DH was on this or know anyone who has.

Not me personally but my female friend is 32wks pg and I know her husband was taking Zyban when they conceived hth.

Thanks for that - there is just very little info about it on the net - it all relates to if the mother takes it.
