periods affected by breastfeeding?

Hi all,

I finally got my period back 15 months after child birth, hurrah! However, because I'm still breastfeeding I'm a bit worried that this may influence my periods, could breastfeeding prolong the cycle or still be inhibiting my fertility? Or once you've had your first period is that it and you're completely fertile again, no worries?
My period used to be really reliable, it was always just 28 days long. I'm on day 29 right now with no hint it will be coming any time soon, but all within the last 4 days my CM has gone crazy - it's watery, it's creamy, it's sticky, it's watery, what the hell is going on? At some points it's felt like a river is gushing out down there! I don't know if I'm ovulating extremely late in the cycle or if I even have ovulated or this is non-fertile CM I'm getting. I'm not holding out hope I'm pregnant (though it would be lovely and we have been trying) because I'm not sure I'm even fully fertile yet, that first period back aside.
Anyone have any ideas?

looks like it is a step by step return to full fertility:

Thankyou, that's exactly what I was looking for. Sadly it probably means I haven't ovulated yet.
