Conceiving after the implant..?

Hey guys im new to mumsnet just thought I'd reply to this thread n start by saying hiya all! I'm trying for LO no 2 and my OH has agreed to it (yay!)
Bit scared also about awful birth, I tore badly with DS and could not walk for 3 weeks- healing process was complete agony Safe to say I am considering epidural this time round haha.
Anyway my problem is that I've had implanon put in around a month ago and want it out so we can TTC. Anyone had any experience with conceiving after the implant?

Almost a year for me with crazy cycles! Sorry. I'd get it out as soon as possible.

Hi - I had my implant removed to conceive DS1. It took 3 months to get pregnant but the midwife seemed surprised it happened so soon.

It took 3 months to conceive the second time too so I guess the implant made no difference to my fertility as we didn't use it in between.

I got mine out end of February. Was pregnant by end April. Lost that pregnancy at end of June.

have been trying since with no luck but regular 28 day cycles.

it can take a while for cycles to settle down after implant.

Had mine out a few months ago, ttc and my cycle is fucked up. Gt it out if you want to conceive is my bitter opinion.

Had mine out in sept..... AF is late and BFN!! so not sure if my cycles are right at the moment, but i had mine in for the full 3 years, and when i had it out hormone was starting to wear off and in the last 6 months i had started to have periods so to speak but like the ones you get on the pill if you know what i mean
