confused! could i still be pregnant

Hiya im wondering if anyone can help me. My period was due on the 10/10/13 but as of today im 12 days late and still no sign. I had very light spotting saturday but not enough to go onto a panty liner akd iv had nothing since. Im still getting negative pregnancy tests and a doctor diaognosed a uti and gave me antibiotics. Im getting pregnancy syptoms (if not in my head) but i feel the same as when i was pregnant with my daughter. I just dont understand why it isnt showing up or why my period has arrived when im always so regular. Any advice wiukd be amazing as im getting abit frustrated now. Thanks x

Hi Stacey, I'm pretty much the same. Regular as clockwork normally but was due on 14th & had nothing. Was feeling quite nauseous but figured you can't have pg symptoms if you haven't even got enough hormone to get a positive test. On 18th I bled for a few hours then it stopped & I had one or 2 brown spots for a couple of days. Still a bit of nausea but not as bad. I'm sure it's because I'm anxious more than anything else.
Are you going to go to dr or wait it out? I was going to wait but I'm having some pain on right side so now wondering if I had very early mc or ectopic? Sounds crazy as I guess I'll never know but I'm never late so a one day period is really weird. I was a week late before I got a positive with dd so if I hadn't had that short bleed I'd still be hopeful but I don't think I can be after that. Hope you get your answer soon, one way or another xx

Hi grizzer i went to the doctors yesterday and told me i have a uti (urinary tract infection) but iv just read online that if the light bleed i had on saturday was implantation then i wont get a posative test for another 1-2 week. Iv got alot of pain in my lower abdomen amd lower back. Ill be doing another test thursday as i will be 14 days late and if still negative ill do one the week afterr an demand a blood test as now im getting abit worried. Hope you get sorted too :-) keep me updated xx

I think it was too late for implantation bleed. I was about 17dpo when I bled. Stood next to a burger van today & the smell made me feel really sick. I'm going to test again at the weekend, if I can wait that long!

I do not want to scare you, but I really hope the doctor confirmed the UTI with a test and not a guess. I had a doctor do this to me many years ago and it turns out I was pregnant! Had I taken the medication (call it a hunch that I did not) it could have caused many problems for my unborn child.

No she comfirmed it with a urine sample. But said "duno why your period has come" i thought that was very unprofessional and she wouldnt look more into it. Im on antibiotics now but tests are still negative. I think im just hoping too much now

When did you notice signs of the UTI? Could be the oncoming UTI caused things to go wonky.

I duno why your period hasnt come!! Shes the doctor and should be looking into it!

I dont get any syptoms of uti. Have been in hospital a few times as i got sever kidney infection from it. So i only found out monday but in all the times iv had it its never made me miss my period always bought my period forward. And it doesnt affect ovulation time either x
