Mrsv, I was on dianette for years. I was put on it at 14 due to acne probs and also my periods were very irregular. When I was 18 I went to see the nurse for my normal bp check and she hit the roof is been on it so long. She was a proper family planning nurse which most nurses in go offices aren't, and also a friend of my mum (awkward! Retired midwife) and she said dianette if taken too long (talking 10 years here so don't panic!) can cause kidney problems. It's only a pill meant to sort you out over the short term. I've never taken it since.
Just something to think about when you get your bfp and if you go back on bc after.

Well AF well and truly got me this morning, so I'm in a crap mood not helped by OH not understanding why I hate my body so much right now (being a real trickster is terms of new AF symptoms-to which I can add 2 weeks of cramping, hot flushes, oh yeah and my favorite-being 2 days late business!)

Ah fuck. Another bfn this morning. I'm on cd29 with no sign at all of af. So annoyed. I'd been so chilled this cycle and it's ended the same way as the other 15 before it. Damn blast bllocks.

Thank choccy, I was put on it for to much testosterone, I'm think I'm highly unlikely to get bfp this month, af still late, I'm still suffering with af like back ache, it's been nearly a week and a half now, I've got a feeling it's something more than just irregular periods after bc.

Well I believe AF has officially got me today! Flow has increased (although only had 1 tiny spot on a pad all day-sorry tmi) an have the AF cramps. Expect to be hit good and proper tomorrow by the witch!

I'm so gutted! If I had my Bfp this month I would have hit 12 weeks just before Christmas so it would have been lovely to tell people then!

Also now my SIL is pregnant it makes it harder. DH says not to worry we'll get there and it's still early days-just wish I could relax about it!

I did OPKs this month and am considering temp next, is it worth doing on top of opk's?

Not quite ready to join Novembers bus yet:(

sazz thanks for hoping for me. Glad your DH is going. Mine went in last month or so and all fine. For him he says him being ok has 'broken the psychological barrier'. Try to plan his appts though as he can't have 'done' anything for 2-3 days before hand then gives his best swimmers away so try to not make the appt around your ov. Good luck!!!!

mama thank you for checking up on me. I am 12dpo (16day lp). We dtd day of ov, day after and next again morning. Nothing much before that. In terms or symptoms: early on I had EWCM but have that most minth's; was violently sick and very very very flu-y out of nowhere for about 5hours on Friday which would have been 8dpo. Came out of nowhere. Can implantation make you I'll then disappear ? Since then I have nothing. No cramp except very light; bbs fine; no spotting; no tiredness (except the usual) nothing!

As I have a 16day lp I'm due on Saturday (my app says Thursday) and was going to hold off until Sunday but have now arranged drinking with mates on sat so will test sat morning...

No symptoms but I feel calm. I don't feel pregnant per se but I feel calm...

I hope I am last on oct and first on nov but purple you're still with me!!!!! FX for us both

M33r what app do you use?? Sounds like you've got all the bases covered and your advice about booking and app an keeping the swimmers fresh is a good tip for anyone. When is the reccommended month to go to your doctor when having trouble trying to concieve?? Is it 6+ months?? I was talking to a health visitor in work and she filled me with such hope that you can have secondary infertility. Felt like braking down and crying!!! She apologised bless her. But they won't do anything for that will they if you've had one naturally??

I'm in a bad mood today as you can tell. Feel full of the joys of spring!! Not.

missv I'm Scottish and here it's twelve minths but We went at about 9 but by the time you gaff around and get dates etc it runs toward 12. DH got all clear just as we are starting (hopefully get BFP so won't have to) cycle 12 so I guess start around then. It does help to break the psychological worry. Saying that, it's not nice for the guys.

I have a cramp! A symptom at last ... Or AF en route...?!?

Works shit, I've got my business partner on Maternity, I've supported her through all her ivf and maternity so far and she has just been a shit. Greedy with money, then threatening to sell half the business, I'm covering a day if her so working 50+ hrs a week and he says she won't help me out when or if I'm in maternity, pissed off and tired of it an then I get clients asking if she's ok, I've got to the point where I just don't care and that sounds horrible, which I'm not, it's probably why periods are so out of whack.

But I appreciate it'd only been four months. I'm fortunate enough to be early days. So I apologise for the rant and the feeling sorry for myself, thank you for asking though x x

missv that sounds awful and you donmt sound sh*t at all. You have given and the fact she is not giving in return is outrageous! Be careful though - she might just be hormonal. If it isn't hormones, she's awfullllll! In the meantime, Think how good you are to have your business and to be keeping it going. That's amazing!

4 months still seems like a long time. I don't think I' any worse off cause I'm at 11. It's all the same for all of us until we're told we can't do it then it changes. In the meantime, it's just time. So you are entitled to be fed up!

But focus on having an amazing job which is successful. And a DH who you love and poss baby very soon!!

Yes, we've been tested and given all clear but all they do with women is 21 day test. No egg count; no tube blocks ... Nothing like that til you're at the front of the queue - 6-9mibths from referral which you get after 21 day test.

Evening all I've only posted on here once, but AF got me two days early today Sorry to everyone else she got too. My cycles are quite long so very frustrating to wait all that time again. Which part of country do you live in m33r? I got referred by gp to fertility clinic. There was only a 33day wait for 1hospital and 31days for another. I've had cycle day 3-5 bloods (5diff things), will have 7dpo bloods, hycosy (tube and uterus check) and dh having jizz test. Did your gp tell you you'd have to wait that long?
