is there any one out there who has had this , i am CD 29 today and Af is due, have NOT had PMT this month which is very unusal for me so did a first response test (have some slight cramping like AF could be looming) this morning ( 3rd wee) - Have a Very faint line, i remember when i have tested with these before if it is BFN then you only get One clear line - has anyone experinced anything like this????

CD? AF? BFN?

pinkranger · 03/07/2006 10:37

Sorry - CD = Length of cycle
AF = period
BFN = big fat negitive -
Spent to long on ttc threads

Normally any second line, no matter how faint means pregnancy

(Oh, and I have had due on style cramping for the first couple of weeks with both pregnancies)

How does CD mean length of cycle? And AF for period?

I would wait until tomorrow and do another one, could be a bit early for testing properly? I've heard of loads of MNers whose tests said neg but they were pregnant, they were early testers.

Any other pregnancy symptoms? When I was pg both times I had cramps when my period (AF!) was due, which was a bit unusual in itself as my cramps are not usually that noticeable.

pinkranger · 03/07/2006 10:41

Af means Aunt flow for period - i know ithought this was very odd when i first see it

cramping seems to be in just one side of my stomach??

Have had a faint line and been pg and a faint line and ended up not being pg.

Test again tomorrow.

Flamesparrow · 03/07/2006 10:42

CD is cycle day I think... which does make more sense than AF

VeniVidiVickiQV · 03/07/2006 10:43

Could be corpus luteum cyst - sign of pg.

brimfull · 03/07/2006 10:44

I had a feint line when I was preg with ds,also had cramps for about the first month.

Natty1806 · 03/07/2006 10:50

had a faint line with Tesco and it turned out to be bfp, so thinkyou may be! Congrats

pendulum · 03/07/2006 13:52

yep me too, also with First Response- nothing happened after the specified time so I put test on the bedside table- picked it up half an hour later and there was a really thin, faint line. DH convinced himsef it was "evaporation line" but I went and got another test the next day, and.... BFP!

Good luck xxx

staceym11 · 03/07/2006 14:44

be careful with the first responce as although they are accurate there is still a chance of early m/c that normally you would not be aware of. im just warning as i had this a little while back and it was heartbreaking as i built my hopes up, id wait 2/3 days and do another. sorry to put a downer on it all

on the bright side am now 21 weeks pg, so dont worry things all work out in the end anyway!!

bobblehead · 03/07/2006 14:45

I used First Response when pg with dd and even when 5 days late it was only a faint line. Looks like its congratulations Pinkranger!
I think the July thread will be very lucky indeed!

Hopecat · 03/07/2006 15:09

A line is a line!

Re what stacey said, of course not all PGs stick, but I think one should always think positive. That way you'll be more relaxed, and things are more likely to go smoothly.

I offer my cautious congratulations, and look forward to welcoming you to the due in March thread...

pinkranger · 03/07/2006 19:38
