so confused over opk test

Hi girls.

I am using the one step ovulation test strips. Today I thought I got a posititve as the test line seemed same colour as contol line with test line slightly paler -only very slighlty. However when i compared that test line to the control ine of a test done earlier today the were the same even though the were two different tests from same batch and manufactuer. Any advice? Normally have 32 day cycle but this is first ccle after mmc. got period without ovulation after the erpc. Now on cd 11 of new cycle and don't know if i will keep m 32 day cycle. Am having mixture of stretch cm and sticky cm so confused.

Not sure but I thought with oPKs you don't just have pos or neg but a gradually developing line over a day or two that then fades out again - as the hormone occurs, peaks and fades. So that doesn't sound weird to me, what you're saying. Could be wrong though!

Also all of the tests (even from the same batch) have varying amounts of dye. You should compare each test to its own control line and not compare them to each other
