sabs did you get the place you were hoping for?? Wales must be different cos we had ours back a month ago and ds1 got into the Catholic school just down the road from us so we're really pleased :):)

Hi everyone! Sorry for being a stranger! Thanks for asking cloud.. I am alright now thank god, had a horrible scare when went for a smear week before last & gp saw a growth of some kind & done urgent 2 week hospital referral.. Hellish wait, fearing the absolute worse, finally saw consultant at colposcopy/oncology dept this afternoon, and thank god, got all clear! So utterly relieved, words don't even elaborate! Much thanksgiving due

Big waves to all and hope you all had lovely Easter's, we were determined to distract ourselves with an action packed time, farms, fairs, seaside, and lots of nice church activities too (with lots of praying thrown in!)

So tired just realised didn't even explain growth was actually some sort of ectopic erosion type thing, looks like cyst, but to do with trauma of birth (notes confirm was 1 cm dilated at 5.25am & gave birth at 6.30am), so cervix severely traumatised! I'll take that all day long over alternative, tis a badge of honour!

Phew 4ever so glad all is ok.

Back to work here but only ten weeks til the summer hols

Can't believe all your wee ones are starting school. DD2 missed the cut off by 4 weeks here so won't start until August 2015. Still waiting to hear about nursery place for next session though.

Another phew from me for 4ever sounds very scary and so pleased and relieved for you that all is ok. So do you need to have anything done or is it like scar tissue type of thing?

Very sad news here, for anyone who remembers me talking about my neighbour's little girl with an inoperable brain stem tumour. She very sadly died in the early hours of yesterday morning. So so sad, has affected me more than I expected, just awful. Sorry to bring the thread down, I felt she deserved a mention.

Hope everyone good!? Round of upcoming birthdays this month! Cloud Lbm can't believe our babies are nearly 4!! Cloud & Mls you got 2nd birthdays to be planning too! Been busily planning her party & getting pressies as off on caravan holidays Monday, then only 2 weeks away, then dawned on me Teddy's 1st birthday is only 7 weeks later! How the heck did that ever happen?! He had his 6-12m check yesterday, 98th percentile! My little chunk! He's not porky, just long and strong! More or less stopped bf now too, mainly nights with the odd fix in the day!

Anyway thought I'd come and waffle on a bit to add some posts to our quiet little thread!

Moon I am so sad to read about your neighbours daughter, my goodness me how incredibly sad How old was she? When I hear about children being so ill so young I worry so much for my two - am not surprised it's affected you lots... Those poor parents, my heart goes out to them

4ever sorry to hear you had a scare, poor you! Am so relieved everything is fine though thank goodness! Wow re Teddy being almost one, where did that time go?! What are you going to do for both their b'days?

Hi shroom I'm 27 weeks got scan next wed hope to find out flavour for definite it's my diabetes check up / growth scan really but oh well I'm more excited about finding out pink or blue x

Wow, 27 weeks That's amazing! How are you feeling? Hope you find out for certain next week, you must have been going mad wondering! how are you doing with the diabetes! I know nothing about it, but would imagine it's a bit of a nightmare Hope you're okay x

I've just have to test my blood sugar about 6 times a day and and cut down my sugar starchy food intake . I've been doing ok so far even managed a bit of chocolate on easter still craving fruit but can't go to mad as it sends sugars up high . Can't believe I'm nearly 28 weeks either

We went to the little girl's funeral on Friday. She was only 6. It was strangely a lovely day, although of course very sad, but she got the send off she truly deserved, and we all wore her favourite colour which made it very special. When we got back, we found our dog had died, so it really was a sad and emotional day all round. Although I did tell myself off for crying over a dog when a mother had just had to attend her own daughters funeral.

But we got ourselves out today and took J for a walk in the pram, and he had his first ever go on the swings. He keeps us smiling through the crap days. And our neighbour keeps asking for us to bring him round, she says it takes her mind off things, so its nice to be able to do something for her.

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. Will get back to personals soon....

Oh moon I still can't believe how sad it is, your poor neighbour and her family. How on earth would you be able to keep going after that? Can I ask if she has any other children? Poor poor little girl

PS Lovely to hear re J though, what a sweetie! Did he enjoy the swing? DS hated it when he was little, but then still doesn't like things like rollercoasters etc. How old is J now? Is work any better? Hope you're okay...

Mrskate poor you having to test that often. Do you have to take insulin too? Wow re being nearly 28 weeks, that's whizzed by! We need someone else to get a BFP soon, we can't possibly have no-one being pregnant on the thread Who's in the running?!?
Btw when is your scan, is it this week?
