Hi everyone I'm new here and really need some advice.
My OH and I have been trying for over 2 years now we've had the bloods and sperm test done and there's nothing obviously wrong.
I've already had a son 5 years ago by another man who left me while I was pregnant.
Now anyway this month so far I am 4 days late, I am never normally more than 2 days late tops. All BFN at the moment including this morning.
I've got really tender breasts, feeling exhausted, nausea and no cramps yet which again I usually get. I also had really bad heartburn last night which I haven't had since I was pregnant with me son!
I'm driving myself crazy at the moment keep going to the loo to check every little feeling down there! And over analysing every single symptom!
Has anyone gone this long and then had a BFP or vice versa!
HELP!!!

I have heard it can take for some people a while for the hormones to build up. I would hold off for a week and test again! Fx :)

Thanks cookielove hate the waiting around to be honest we're getting our hopes up way too much just hoping they don't get completely dashed

I would not keep testing as seeing repeated negatives can be very disheartening.

When were the blood and semen analyses (note plural, that should never be done as a single test) done?. If these were done over 6 months ago you both need up to date test results.

Will the GP not refer you as a couple to a gynae at a subfertility unit for further evaluation?. Secondary subfertility is certainly not unknown and there is certainly a problem with either one or equally both of you given the amount of time ttc to date.

I would test again in a week using FMU.

What's a fmu nappyaddict?
Attila trying to resist the urge to test again!
It's just so frustrating with my son I didn't find out until I was 6 weeks gone,
We were only referred for one of each test 3 months ago the doctor said there was nothing more to do as we were both fine then there was no need to refer us and that it just might take longer than we hoped x
