OPKs after early miscarrage

I'm confused.... I had an early miscarrage a week ago, body now seems more or less back to 'normal', I did a HPT yesterday just to check my levels and though positive it was almost invisible so I think my hormones are almost back down. Today I did an OPK (a cheapy one from Amazon) the two lines were almost the same colour, is it possible to ovulate ths soon after miscarrage? We don't want to wait to try again, thoughts ladies should we start DTD now????

OPKs do also pick up HCG so could be this. V difficult to predict what happens first cycle after a MC but no harm in trying anyway!

More than likely the opk is picking up hcg. I tested using an opk before my last mc (peed on the wrong stick by mistake!) and got a far darker line than I did the following day on a hpt.

Id be surprised if it was ovulation already but i guess it is not impossible. But if your hcg is still positive then id have thought you wont ovulate yet. Getting the hormone surge that triggers ovulation is not a guarantee you will ovulate. Hormones can be all over the place for a while after miscarriage.
if you are feeling ready to have sex and ttc again then go for it. But be kind to yourself if you are not ready, and id say no point bothering with opks until you have had a period.
