Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

Hell yes, "super sperm" is vom-worthy in the extreme. Ugh. One of my friends has responded to any FB pregnancy announcements (including that of his own wife) with "the sperm is strong with you" or some such. If he says it to us I shall have to respond with "that's largely irrelevant when pipettes are involved" and hope he shuts up...

eurochick · 25/10/2013 20:22

bugs I hear you. I wouldn't have believed that ttc would completely drain my sex life of most of its fun bits, but apparently so.

I hope you get some spermz later.

winkly I completely agree. See also: men boasting about their super sperm. Fuckofffuckofffuckoff.

drizz I am thrilled about your scannage. :)

eurochick · 25/10/2013 20:23

Oh. I see over the page two of you have already beaten me to the super sperm comment!

KatAndKit · 25/10/2013 20:49

driz great news about scan, am delighted for you :)

bugs hope you at least get a quick one. Its crap when neither of you actually want to do it and especially so when you have to pretend you are all in the mood to seduce him and really he knows it is probably because you got a smiley stick not because you can actually be arsed to have sex. Might be easier to forgo pretence and say, look, last chance for this month tonight can we give it a go?

So you seduced him in the kitchen? Excellent effort Bugs. Really. 10/10.

FrankelInFoal · 25/10/2013 21:21

Well done Bugs Wink

We've not managed sechs for a long time, combination of early scare, me feeling sick and only being together at weekends Sad

FizzyFeet · 25/10/2013 22:23

Well done bugs!

It's been a looooooong time since I had a shag anywhere other than a bed.

YY to annoying phrases. I got riled at work the other week by a site wide email announcing "so and so's maternity presentation". WTF? Was she doing a PowerPoint or something? Jeez.

Grin I sag in bus shelters quite frequently!

Having a good weekend so far - went to a great gig last night, currently eatin porridge in bed, then hosting a halloween party later.

Good luck with the packing - label, label, label is my advice!

MyNameIsWinkly · 26/10/2013 08:50

I had a nice dinner at a friend's last night. I then woke up this morning with really bad stomach pains, but after about an hour a big poo fixed me

Housework today then going to a fancy dress birthday party tonight, staying over in a posh hotel. I am inspired by bug's kitchen heroics (and a special commendation to GP also!) so will shave my legs, make myself pretty and see if my luck is in.

SinkyMalinks · 26/10/2013 08:51

I tried at ?17. Didn't go well... Blush. I'm actually pretty glad I'm not 18 (or 17) again! (But mid twenties? They were a blast!)

I'm doing nothing fun this weekend. Will be working from home and trying o clean away all the dust from having our windows one earlier in the week.

Fun packing bugs? I quite enjoy it to a point and then just wish I could pay someone/burn the rest.

evilgiraffe · 26/10/2013 09:09

You tried what, sinks? Bus shelters? Well, oooer missus! Grin

Today we are watching qualifying, then going into town to: replenish first aid supplies, choose/buy a new rug, choose/buy a new hoover, and window shop for a TV stand. How boring grown-up is that? I may have to chase pigeons or something to redress the balance...

FrankelInFoal · 26/10/2013 09:20

Today I am baking a carrot cake and doing college work

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/10/2013 09:42

I am internet shopping for new (work) boots and contemplating baking. Later I might actually venture into town and/or do exercise. Late afternoon is a long-planned facial with a friend.

Tomorrow is blissfully empty. Might meet sister and brood for lunch. Really hope to catch my parents to tell them (but at the moment they are babysitting my brother's boisterous boys, so not really available). Sechsing in kitchen or otherwise might have to be considered again at some point. But I am scared still...

Well done on the poo, wink. It can be such a relief! A good side effect of scan nerves was the temporary reappearance of the ability to poo...

I am impressed and intrigued by shagging in the bus shelter. Winks come and tell us all about it I've always been so DULL.

That sounds thrilling draf. Although packing in my book is worse than picking a hoover. Btw well done for the sechs bugs. The one good thing about IVF was indeed the complete lack of shagging pressure. I really enjoyed it.

SinkyMalinks · 26/10/2013 09:55

Ah, not exciting. Teenaged shenanigans. Rather damp and uncomfortable. Me and the bf gave it up as a bad job pretty quickly. I suspect you need to be rather more drunk and in a more temperate climate.

Now, the beach lounger in Greece was better, until we got chased by the police. (And the sand. Ow)

I will stop now. Before I make myself sound totally degenerate.

eurochick · 26/10/2013 10:25

Nice work bugs! The kitchen floor too - I'm impressed.

Happy pigeon chasing draf.

sinks I've tried a beach lounger too! No police though, thankfully. And in the sea (brought to an early conclusion when we noticed the curious kid with goggles getting a bit too close). Holidays always give me the horn. :)

I'm not sure what we have planned for the day. We took yesterday off work, so bought stuff for shooting and managed to get a dress for next week's big do, completing most of our tasks for the weekend. I might need to pick up noo shoos to go with it. :) I should go for a run this morning but I really don't feel up for it at the moment.

Al fresco shagging and floor steam cleaner in a single post bugs. I love BESH freds

Euro, in my idle sat am mn browsing, I saw your dress on the S+B thread. Excellent dress- you'll look fab. And a castle? Awesome. I was at a wedding a few weeks ago in a castle, with suit of armour and everything. I should be thankful I'm not drinking, or rather the owners should be, as I didn't even try to put it on.

MyNameIsWinkly · 26/10/2013 10:36

bugs you dirrrty girl, good work!

I haven't actually ever done it in a car, but can offer up - round the back of a Leicester Square nightclub, on the beach on holiday, on the balcony (same holiday), and behind a vending machine in butlins

euro link to your pretty new dress? Will the do be fun or corporate and stuffy?

Hurrah bugs!

This is frockage:
www.coast-stores.com/maddie-dress/dresses/coast/fcp-product/2224815057
Very much not what I would usually go for, but I felt good in it!

The do will be fun. A family member is turning 50. She is not the type to do things by halves, hence the hire of a castle...

Shocking bugs. I hope you poured it over the waiter.

evilgiraffe · 27/10/2013 06:56

Isn't that an upgrade? (disclaimer: I hate Bombay Sapphire with a passion) No excuse for not bringing what you asked for, though.
