Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

I don't think so. But it's brown sludge rather than fresh blood so I'm not getting too despondent about it.

Today was the first morning since Monday that I have managed to resist PingOAS. I think I am chilling out a bit.

Well done on minimal chilling, euro! I am keeping everything crossed for good things. Btw my clinic said spotting happens in loads of IVF-pregnancies, even more that natural ones, because your foof has been meddled with in extremis. And whilst your HCG is doing the right things I am writing with my legs crossed there really is no reason for concern. However, being completely panicked and disbelieving is a very normal reaction, especially as long-term TTCer.

If the HCG has gone up a good amount tomorrow, I'm going to try to chill TF out for a while (until NY when it'll be time to start menkulling about the scan on 3 Jan).

Are you nice and busy this evening euro, to hold the menkulling at bay? When will you know tomorrow?

Er... having been harangued by a BESH for denying you all nipple twirling possibilities I am here to whisper that I got a BFP last Friday.

I didn't want to come on here crowing about it because I was so aware that this was an easy win for me this time.

It's still early days and I am still gusset checking like mad.

I've just wrapped KFZK's presents and we've finally got around to decorating the tree we picked up on Monday and has been sitting bare-branched in the living room since then.

bugs the recorded message says they are there from 9-12 on a Sunday, so hopefully I will be able to reach someone then.

What I would guess happened is that the clinic is quiet in December (there were only 2 ECs on the day I had mine done when there had been loads on previous cycles) so they did the ECs and ETs for the day and then sodded off before my result came through. Or they just forgot. Grrr. I didn't even bother to POAS this morning as I thought I would just wait for the blood test result.
