Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

Yup, yup, good luck Bugs, kick some managerial ass!

eurochick · 13/12/2013 10:25

Good luck bugs. I can't believe your boss would ask you about trying naturally! That is hugely overstepping the mark. I hope HR are more sensible.

Thinking of you Bugs, just remember you have done nothing wrong. A medical expert has seen fit to sign you off work and they will just have to deal with it.

KatAndKit · 13/12/2013 13:27

Good luck! If it isn't too late, I would make the point that anxiety is one of the main reasons you have been signed off for the duration of this treatment cycle. Say that calling you in for meetings and bothering you about work is adding to your anxiety. Therefore they are hindering, not helping your return to work. You have been signed off to reduce your anxiety surely? Harrassing you when you have a perfectly good sick note is going to have the opposite effect and may even make it harder for you to return when the time comes.

In my experience Occupational Health have been good when I have seen them. I had a long absence due to anxiety/depression. Eventually left that job to move back closer to home, but the OH person was sympathetic.

Phew bugs I'm glad that's over for you. Relax and think about Christmas now and not stabbing and get those mince pies down you. I've made another 48 this afternoon. Just awaiting the last half dozen out the oven.

Rang the FC for us today chasing that next apt. I'm officially the next lady on the list. Feel like I should have a lamp or something. Meeting in Jan.

Fish and pompoms on ice for you and egglet euro

Recipe, bugs? I have four bananas that are almost at the point of binning, but should still be fine for cake...

I'm hoping to get some of my gran's mince pies - we're round there for Christmas Eve, so fingers crossed she'll send us home with a few...

eurochick · 13/12/2013 17:30

I saw the pics of the mince pie factory on t'other place, cherry. To my shame, although I love baking, I have never made mince pies. Perhaps I should try.

Hurrah for being next on the list!

You've not got long to go now, bugs. Are you doing long protocol or short?

I've had cramps all day (8dpEC now) so clearly something is trying to implant. But I've had similar on all previous cycles and given I've always had some sort of positive test at the end of it, I don't think getting the embie to interract with my wwomble at some level has been the problem. And it won't help if the embie is a dodgy one. I wish I could ignore the cramps and just metaphorocally stick my fingers in my ears for the next few days, but it's as impossible as trying to ignore a headache.

Oh gawd hang in there oh lovely euro headfuck headfuck, fingers in ears, lalala. must be doing your head in. Home made mince pies are 20 times better than bought IMO.

Choccy banana loaf sounds awesome too bugs. I'm with you both on the menkulling front. Couldn't we just be woken up when it's all over?

FrankelInFoal · 13/12/2013 18:19

Rooting for you and embie euro, wish I could fast forward the next few days for you ((hug))

I've never made mince pies but I have made those cheating swirl things - sheet of puff pastry, spread liberally with mincemeat filling, roll like a Swiss roll, cut into 1 cm thick slices, bake.

FizzyFeet · 13/12/2013 19:27

Mmmm pass the mince pies...

euro I'm still waving my pompoms for your embie! Go embie go! When's OTD?

bugs well done for today. I'm glad it helped you feel better about it all.

cherry hooray for being the Lady of the List. Did they give you any further indications about timescales?

I'm still in limbo land ATM. Had a good chat with my friend who's due in Jan with her OMG IVF baybee which was great. And a bittersweet one with another friend who is ttc after we saw lots of other friends with baybees yesterday. Generally feeling a bit more cheerful now that droid has fecked off. Do you all feel better instantly the metal bastard shows up? I used to but recently have been feeling pre-droidal even on CD2 or 3 am I just weird ?

eurochick · 13/12/2013 19:57

Thanks ladies. OTD is next Thursday at 14dpEC, so I'm over half way through now.

fiz I'm generally in too much pain once Droid arrives to feel better instantly. I feel CD4 is the "best day". I'm down to light bleeding, my bloat has disappeared so my stomach is lovely and flat. My hormones have settled. And the period pains have fucked off.

frankel cheating swirl things you say....

bugs I'm the opposite - I have to have as much info as possible. If they had offered a livelink from the embryoscope to my laptop, I'd have taken it (and I'm willing to be some clinic will in the future!).

Thank you, bugs, that looks awesome :)

Everything crossed for your embie, euro. I am hoping with everything I have that this one is the one.

Plaice of Patience for fizz and coco, waiting for info etc is maddening.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/12/2013 08:12

Well done on 48 mince pies cherry, that's insane. I made my own the last two years including making mince meat but haven't bothered yet. I am not really ready for Chrismas in any way or form.

Hurrha for surviving That bugsy. It sounds awful and like he's a dick. But you did it and you stopped feeling guilty, which is good. Now enjoy the run up to Chrismas and put your fingers in your ears re: stabbing. Sing with euro lalala.

I am willing eurembie on massively. Sorry about the headfuck. I had a fluy weekend after ET this last round. Complete mentalling, as I was worried I'd fry it...

Waiting is awful, so agree with the fishy comforts for fizz and cherry!

eurochick · 14/12/2013 09:38

I remember those worries, drizz. I was supposed to be seeing my bestie this weekend (the one with 3 IVF wins), but she has cancelled as she has some form of Evil Lurgy and doesn't want to share it with me.

MyNameIsWinkly · 14/12/2013 11:54

bugs your boss is an UltraCock. I'm glad your meeting is over and you can relax a bit.

cherry who eats the millions of mince pies? I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of them but they smell so Christmassy and good.

euro I'm still willing on your embie. Fingers crossed.
