Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

PS winks that would make me mad too! And the worst of it is that when you do tell them, they'll be able to say "I knew it!"

kat the new clinic recommended karotype testing, so we will have that done before our final cycle.

Hurrah for being able to go public!

winks I think the preggo rage might have struck.

bugs blue cheese and red wine is not so bad. I'm chomping at the bit for some booze! Have one for me will you?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/12/2013 08:58

How are things this morning bugs? A bit brighter? Sorry about the announcement on fb, they are horrid. In fact, as I discovered the other day, I still react upset to diffment announcements, I wonder if it ever will shift!

I agree euro, that might be The Rage. But don't tell the diffed, they bite as well as growl Wink.

Waves to the others!

MyNameIsWinkly · 11/12/2013 09:48

Rage? Pah! This was nothing. You should have been there when HWCA left a sinkful of dirty dishes to stagnate instead of putting them in the dishwasher. Now that was rage.

He's been very good at putting them away since that Grin

Your boss is a dick, bugs. That's just rude. And he makes you cry, so he clearly doesn't have much sense of professionalism. Angry

Set up a video camera where they can't see, bugs Grin Or you can use the dogs to shoo them out when you've had enough...

It is awkward when shit managers are likeable people though.

bugs my dear you have a sick note. You are not required to negotiate your time off with your boss. He has got the doctors note and now he needs to suck it up and get by without you for a while. He has no right to turn up to your home with HR while you are on sick leave. This is harrassment.

just say no. Get union rep involved if the message is not getting through.

The majority of women are irrelevant. You are under no obligation to discuss your medical history/ongoing treatment with your boss - you have a doctor's note declaring you unfit until treatment ends, and your boss has to deal with your absence. That's it. Don't let him try to bully you into being available on the phone, or answering the odd email - it is all work, and you are medically unfit to carry it out. Stick to your guns!

...delurks... Bugs I've been here and second the others - he is treading a very fine line with you at the moment as he should absolutely not be contacting you to discuss work, or even realistically your return to work if you have a doctors note that states how long you'll be off and why. If he's not careful you'll have grounds for harassment compensation - the fact that HR are with him implies they don't want him to do something stupid. If you can get a rep to meet with you as well I would do so. Safety in numbers after all! Stick to your guns lovely and don't be intimidated by the numpty!

...relurks...

If he says anything about trying naturally, your husbands role or anything equally inappropriate i suggest you ask if it is company policy to interrogate all employees on what goes on in their bedroom.

hope it goes well anyway. If it doesn't it is your house, request that he leave and get union steward to deal with it for you.
