Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

I haz been in the pub, hence my quietness. Waiting for droid here too - I guess it will be standard luteal phase length? We should write a Beckett-style play: Waiting for Droidot.

Wink we saw the magic words "replacement bus service" when we checked the journey planner and so decided to give it a miss!

Avoiding replacement buses is always a good thing! And yeah, droids do piss about, especially when it's least convenient for them to do so. Fingers crossed it works out for KFZK's hearing! I didn't realise you were both Law types

I've never had a facial, but have had TWO back massages this summer which were super nice and felt very decadent :) I quite fancy getting a manicure too, though not any time soon - I bent a nail right back earlier so am now looking quite fetching with a plaster on my finger...

I luffs a facial. Feels very WAG somehow.

I've managed to pull the handle off the dishwasher door, not entirely sure how.

I don't quite "get" facials. They never seem to do much for me. And I actively dislike manicures (people digging at my cuticles makes me want to vom...). Massages on the other hand....

I seem to have a habit of falling asleep during facials. I do love a good massage, though embarassingly I burst into tears during the last one I had, shortly after my mc.

I will surender to any sort of massage/facial/pampering, I could go limp at the thought of it. Bliss. Definitely need to get some pummelling on the old dodgy shoulder - I twisted funny yesterday and ended up trapping a nerve somewhere in my pec behind my right boob, felt a bit too close to a heart attack for comfort. Eeek.

Morning hags! I love a facial too, but that is mainly the shoulder massage that comes included and the opportunity to lie on my back for an hour or so! Got one booked in three weeks :)

1st scan booked in for Friday. I'm calling today official day 1 and starting stabbing tomorrow.

I have new HRT patches to see if two weeks on a different progesterone suit me any better than the last lot and save me turning into a mental case. I'm still in the oestrogen zone yet - which I luuurve - but fuck me if ripping off the first patch hasn't taken all the skin off my arse cheek with it. Eeeesh!

Are you on the HRT in preparation for a DE cycle? Can't remember quite where you are in the waiting list/ getting ready stakes. Or is it a case or regulating things/ controlling symptoms while you wait?

HRT is the long game so trying to find one that suits - don't fancy being a psycho for half of the next 20 years, god forbid.

Hoping to get called in to the FC for a meeting mid Dec with the aim of starting treatment Jan/Feb time depending on donors etc.

HRT is the dogs bollox according to my mum - she's early sixties now and has been on it since early forties. She loves it! I swear it's why she looks so young. Sorry you are having to take it, but hopefully you will find a combo that works for you. And wow! You, me and bugs could all be menkulling cycling together in Jan/Feb!

Your mum is right, HRT is a squillions times better than life without, if I can just crack the right progesterone I'll be laughing! Great to have you guys as potential cycle buddies. Gulp.

I think the indifference feeling is a self-preservation thing, after all the crap the BESH have to put up with we just can't see the point in getting our hopes up.

That might well be it, frank. Also, I have lost the faith that the process can work for us. I'm really just going through the motions so in a couple of years time I don't think I wish I had given it a go whilst I still have eggs or whatever.
