I have had the implanon for about 2 1/2 years I'm getting it out in January. And haven't been feeling myself I'm always puking, having headaches, craving foods and going to the bathroom a lot more frequently and I'm always tired. I am married so me and my husband don't use any other type of protection. Has any one got pregnant before on this birth control ? I heard that getting a at home test won't work because of all the hormones. Help!!

Implanon is very effective contraception (much more than the pill or condoms etc) but these things are never 100%. A home pregnancy test will be accurate as it looks for bHCG, which is only present in pregnancy, rather than progesterone which is what the implanon contains. So you need to POAS, there is no other way to know for sure!! If it's negative then maybe you're just coming down with an infection or something, but I think you need to POAS for an accurate answer! Hope you get the answer you want.
