hello, I put up a message a few days ago about the reliability of ovulation test strips. Thanks for all the useful advice. However, I still haven't had a surge and I did wonder if there was anyone out there would knew that they were ovulating , but the strip showed nothing.
I am still partially breastfeeding my 6 month old dd( about 3x a day) and although I have had 2 afs they weren't as regular as they were before I had her. Could this be linked? Have I turned into an obsessed, crazy ttc woman? Does even partial feeding affect ovulation HELP ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

How many days, and which CDs, have you wee'd on them so far?

I used the persona contrasception tester, and used it in reverse ie had sex on thedays that it said not to. It all so told you when you were ovulating after the first month. After trying for 8months I got preg the first time when using it this way so quite reliable I would say. Not very cheap though. I found ovulation strips were totally inacurate for me but my friend used them and they worked fine for her.

I expect that breast feeding would affect the test. Some women can get preg even when they are breast feeding all the time but I didn't get my period until I totally stopped. Then fell preg first time we had sex when I had stopped! He was 8 months when I stopped. Lots of women get preg when still breastfeeding so def doesn't stop you! Sorry if thats not much help!
