My 11 month old is never going to cut down his feeds, meaning my periods will never come back and therefore I will never be able to conceive dc2. We wanted a small gap but I don't want to force him to stop. I thought it would happen when I went back to work but apparently I was wrong. Boo hoo

He's nearly a year old. if you want to stop that desperately, why not bottle and milk? or they can go straight to cup? Yes I understand you want to what his best for him, but it's your life too and sometimes there is a bigger picture that they don't get. If you want your kids close together, then you'll need to do it? What if he still wants it when he's 2?
