Having had 2 chemical pregnancies in 2013 while ttc no. 2 I would really love to hear from anyone who's had multiple losses followed by a successful pregnancy - particularly if it doesn't appear to have any rhyme or reason to it whatsoever! it gives me hope!

Me! Had 1 chemical pregnancy before conceiving dd1 and then a heartbreaking 2 chemical pregnancies (after which I became convinced there was something wrong with me) before going on to conceive dd2 2 cycles after the last chemical pregnancy. Had a scare with dd2 as started having spotting at week 6, told dh that it was happening again, there was obviously something wrong with me and I couldn't face trying again. Went into scan completely resigned to the bad news and was amazed to see a heartbeat! Only time I've seen dh cry (neither of us shed a tear at either actual birth but that tiny flicker on the screen that showed us life and hope reduced us both to sobbing like babies! )
Saw a wonderful doctor after first chemical pregnancy, he may have been a bit brutally honest for some but it was just what I needed. He basically said "you have conceived once and so you can do so again some people can never get past that first hurdle. Not so long ago this would have just been thought of as a late period and it happens more than we know."
I wish you all the best of luck. I remember how hard it is.
