5 days late but tests show negative

Hi,

Myself and husband have been trying for number 2 for 2 months now. This month my period is 5 days late but 2 tests have come back negative :( is it possible it's just too early to show or should I stop getting my hopes up? I'm so confused and just want to do tests each day!

It might be too early for the hormones to show, go and grab some tests from the pound shop and test as often as you need too.

Do you know how many DPO you are?

Days past ovulation? If so I am 17 dpo

It's quite unlikely that you are. Most tests should pick up the hormone now. Time after time people on here write about having late periods and testing negative, but more often than not they are just late that month. Hope this isnt the case for you obviously, but i think not gettinv your hope us is wise.
Good luck as they always say you are in for a chance until AF doesn't show up.
