I am feeling like absolute shite tonight. My throat is killing, it has been since about 3pm, it burns when I swallow.
And my back has been really hurting since about 5pm, feels like a stitch pain midway down on the left.

No more spotting though........

lucyfluff and mama31 - you are right boys are great, mine is almost 3 and a total sweetie.

and yes mama your cramps must be to do with ovulation. It's funny before I really started ttc I never noticed all these body changes now I feel over aware of every damn twinge every minute of the day!

Congrats writer!!! Baby boy!!! How fab!! I've fit a girl an do t know how the hell to deal with boys bits, looked after my nephew once who was in the middle of potty training I had to ask my brother, does he sit or stand and do I have to point it or hold it in the right direction??? I was so confused!!!
Funny story for you all, got married in June, the lads went a stag do, I was asked to do a mr and mrs questionnaire, thought ok, until I saw the questions, rude rude rude, but thought ok Laura be game and fill it in,
One question came back to haunt me, what's yours husbands favourite position, we call it backwards yee haa, it's actually called reverse cowgirl,
One of our best men decided it would be a good idea to tell everyone during our speeches. They all now shout yee haa at me at any given moment, also our best man decided to educate everyone about finger blasting!!! My poor Nain, and dad!!! Luckily my mums pretty cool!!

Thanks everyone for the congratulations, we are so happy. I have to take medication that puts foetuses at increased risk of spina bifida (I am on a prescribed high dose of folic acid and have been for 4 months even before TTC to try and reduce the likelihood) and it is a worry I have had as soon as I got my BFP - however, the scan today showed the spine has developed perfectly so we are absolutely over the moon about that too. It is a huge weight off my shoulders and a worry off my mind.

I terms of baby names, we have none! We had loads of potential girls names bit nothing for Boyd. I think it is going to be a challenge!!

mama - I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated but based on scan dates and bone measurements etc I am pretty sure that we convinced from sex we had 2 days prior to ovulation.

I have loads of girls names in mind but only one for a boy.....just hope I get my Bfp so I can make such decisions :)

Thanks mama - my family are all over the moon. Especially both grandads, they are loving the idea of dragging a little grandson to the football on a Saturday afternoon. They see it as some kind of tradition....

Awww writer, you've got plenty of time to think Smile. We chose ds's name before we started ttc last time. I think we're there this time too!

Sazzle, testing tomorrow morning Will be 10dpo, but that was the day af came last month (1st month off the pill, and I ovulated the same day, cd16, as last month). Fingers crossed Smile Hopefully the witch stays away from me!

I have Jack - 11 yrs. Ryan - 8 yrs and little Oscar 18mnths. A bit of an age gap as older two are from previous relationship but they are all so similar Grin

Dont get me wrong I would love a little girl but boys give lovely cuddles Grin Grin

It's funny you should ask. What does my daughter make of him as he was only saying last week that he wants to meet my D.D. It's just arranging a convenient time now though because as you probably know my D.D stays out the nights I see him. D.D knows all about him though and she's fine with everything. xxx

Good for you lucyfluff :) Awh lovely my also have a Ryan 12yrs old :) nice names! Love Oscar and actually suggested that recently to DH! Beautiful name :) glad your chilling this wkend, much deserved :) boys are amazing there's no doubt, but I will only have one more child so I would be lying if I said I didn't want a girl, but a boy would be just as lovely.....one of each would just be a nice experience but another boy would please me as I see how amazing they are. All my family have boys too so it is almost expected that if someone is preggers it will be a boy.....but always excitement of "wouldn't it be great to get a girl" lol I'd never be short of babysitters for a girl that's for sure!!!

Writer my boy goes every week to footie with his dad and grandad!!! It's such a nice thing for them all to share :) awwwwh I'm so excited for you!! That little boy is going to change your life so much, it will be so amazing that you can't even imagine!!!!! :)

I'm just relieved that because it's a boy it means I won't feel under any pressure to go through pregnancy again!! Smile My husband had always said that he would just as happy to have a little girl but if he did he would want to try again in the hope of having a boy the 2nd time round. So at least that's one conversation argument that can be avoided now Grin

I'd secretly like a boy, only to have one of each, but either if be happy with, my daughter us so close with her dad, they are like too peas in a pod, she's 5 going on 15, she's desperate for a baby brother or sister, she knows about periods as she's seen nine and asked questions before, 2 weeks ago she asked me very normally, have you had a bleed yet mummy or is there a baby in your tummy. Took me by surprise, but it makes me even more excited for when I do get that bfp and we'll take her to the first scan as a surprise.

Awh now I'm excited thinking about baby names....why am I so obsessive?!!!! I just would love to be in the process discussing all the names....even though we have practically chosen the name for boy or girl....id love to be trawling through all the possible names with DH knowing there's a little baby inside me......can not wait I tell you....and I just know DH will be like a little boy on Christmas Day when I finally get my bfp....he will just be bursting with joy and excitement!!! Hope it's this month!!!!
