Morning All!

So I have a question. I bought 50 cheap ovulation tests off the internet and they arrived yesterday. The instructions say to not use first morning urine as the LH surge happens later in the day. Is this correct? I work full time so don't really want to be testing at work mid morning everyday! Thanks!

Yeh don't use fmu as you always have a bit of lh in your system and this can build up overnight and give you a false result.

Apparently best time to test is between 10am and 2pm. I work too and the few times I have done it at work I just have a plastic cup in my bag and take a longer than usual toilet break. Not ideal!

Best to test twice a day at first as well as you might miss the surge. I never got a proper positive first two months but this month realised my surge was later in the day so I probably was missing it.

Yep, I made the mistake of testing with fmu. I test after lunch between 1 and 2, but I'm not hugely strict on timings. I will say that you get the hang of it quickly. I don't put mine pee in a cup, I just pee straight onto stick. It takes less than 5 mins, so I don't think that would necessarily raise any eyebrows at work!

Thanks for your replies! Looks like I will be peeing on them at work then! It's just they say read the result after 10 mins! I guess that's the problem with the cheaper tests?
