I'd be mad to swim? I forgot to ask my clinic and swimming is first thing tomorrow, i'm 8 dpt, everywhere on line says no, apart from a few people who did. Please tell me what to do...

A warm pool is going to be cooler than a normal bath, I can't see why not.

In the usual run of things women have no idea they have conceived and are racing about, swimming, exercising and drinking (if not TTC seriously). My DF conceived her only non IVF baby while drinking and skiing.

My clinic say no swimming in the 2ww. Don't know why!

If the transfer doesn't work you would question yourself. I think if you feel any doubt you shouldn't and then if the 2ww is not good news at least you will not be questioning whether you made the right decision.

thanks all - I didn't go! I decided that it would make me worry too much, and if I get a BFN then i'd wonder if it was something i'd done. I have 2 children (by IVF), never thought our frozen embryos would come to anything, but they defrosted alive and went back in so they are SOO precious (as are all babies!) and I just couldn't risk it! I must have done water babies after the 2ww with my DS (I went on hols for the whole 2WW) so I assume i'll be safe after next week!
