Hi all hope I can get some help. I'm 22 years old and ttc my second child. I had my coil out 3 months ago and this month trying for a baby. A week after my period finished I wiped and I had some spots of blood (thought nothing of it as it was light and hardly anything) yesterday I had major cramp in my belly, it was so bad it made me feel sick! I've had dark red blood yesterday and today (cramps today too) it's like spotting type blood? I'm not due on for 9 days. Any idea what my body is doing :(

It could well be implantation but the only way to know is too wait and test or it could be your body adjusting to getting the coil removed.

Probably your body adjusting its cycles post-coil - it sometimes takes a few months and they can get worse before they get better. If it's very painful and red blood, probably not implantation, though feel free to prove me wrong! Smile Maybe check in with your GP if it continues.

Getting lumps in the bleeding now. Surely this ain't normal :(

Lumps like clots you mean?

Kay2o11 · 03/10/2013 03:22

Yes for about an hour and now nothing at all

I don't know. It does sound like your body adjusting to the coil to me, but it's obviously worrying you. Why don't you get an urgent appt with the GP to have it checked out?

Yeah it's worrying me as I had 2 regular periods before we ttc and then this. See someone monday to get a check
