Hi lyn. I think it's difficult to say.

Last month I had every symptom under the sun, and was convinced none of them were mental side effects!

However I wasn't pregnant.

Whatever you google, someone, somewhere had that symptom on that day dpo.

Lots of people on here recently have no symptoms, which in itself is considered a symptom!

So unfortunately, the only option is to wait it out as long as you can or AF to catch you, or do to a test.

Good luck!

Hi Lyn13 I just learnt this recently.

Apparently just after ovulation, your body makes more progesterone. That results in a lot of symptoms that COULD be misread as pregnancy symptoms, but are really not. I did not know this my first 2 tries Shock.

Quote, Progesterone levels increase after ovulation. This increase in progesterone may cause you to feel symptoms similar to pregnancy symptoms. While these early symptoms could be due to pregnancy, they might not actually be pregnancy related. If you notice symptoms before implantation could have occurred, the symptoms are likely due to normal hormonal changes that take place after ovulation rather than pregnancy.

Implantation rarely happens before 9DPO or 10DPO. So any "symptoms" prior to that are not very likely to be pregnancy signs.

Thanks jaykay and keden

Implantation rarely happens before 9DPO or 10DPO.

Sorry. I take that back.

According to Fertility Friend, implantation can occur anywhere from 7 to 10 days DPO. And in some cases even earlier or later.

Wouldn't that date make you 7 or 8 dpo?
I for one really can't comment about the cramping. I hate it. I get them when I'm pregnant and I get them when I'm not!
Last cycle I even had them in the middle of the night about a week before my period started. It woke me up and I needed to take pain killers, but alas it was just that Progesterone going bonkers and nothing to do with growing a baby!
Good luck though and everyone is different for every cycle it seems!

I'm due on next Mon and I have the following 'symptoms':

Frequent urination
Headaches
Lower abdo cramps
Itchy nipples
Bigger boobs
Increased appetite
Insomnia

...but I had them all in a recent anovulatory cycle, so I'm not getting my hopes up Hmm

FrankelInFoal · 30/09/2013 21:34

Unfortunately many "pregnancy" symptoms are identical to pre-period symptoms. In my experience the first thing I noticed was my nipples looked a bit darker about 12 dpo. I didn't have any sickness until 3 weeks after my positive test and other than that, nothing at all!

I know how stressful it is, it took me 3 years to get pregnant, but a lot of the time I do think "symptoms" are actually a case of wishful thinking. Fingers crossed for you though.

Writerwannabe83 · 30/09/2013 21:34

Frequent Urination was my first indication!!! It started about a week before my period was due. I was popping to the loo every 1-2 hours which was FAR more frequently than normal for me!!

The best of luck RaRaz Smile

RaRaZ · 01/10/2013 08:00

Thanks Smile. Think it's been another anovulatory one for me though (test results on Thurs - eeek) so probably just mangled hormones Envy. I'll pass me luck on the the OP!

one of the first things I noticed was a strange ' uncomfortable' feeling under my ribs! that was before my bfp.
