ttc after CP

Hi ladies,
So I had what is technically called a chemical pregnancy this month (although I'm not a fan of the term). I got my bfp on 12dpo but by 16dpo I started to bleed and had what was effetively a very heavy period. Physically it wasn't too bad but I have been very emotional as I was so pleased to get the bfp Sad.

Anyway my question is - do I count the first day of bleeding as CD1? Am I likely to ovulate as usual this month? I want to get back to ttc straight away.

Thanks

Hi littlemisspear, sorry you had to go through a chemical preg, its heaetbreaking.

I had a CP at the end of July this year, I ovulated 3 weeks later (but I have a 35 day cycle) so counted CD1 from the first day I started bleeding from the chem preg. I actually conceived again that month and am currently 8+1 so it can happen again very quickly.

Good luck to you in your journey Smile

Hi littlemisspear, just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear this - I experienced the same thing earlier this month. I've counted the first day of bleeding as day 1 of a new cycle - unsure whether I've ovulated this cycle or not but am still keeping my fingers crossed that my body gets back to normal soon. Sending positive thoughts and good luck vibes your way Thanks x
