Hello, I am new and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 32 and just married and am scared and excited about actually thinking about becoming a Mum after all those years of trying not to become one. I came off the pill two weeks ago after 18 years, my body is already very confused! The plan was to start trying at Christmas but it would be so lovely to fall without really trying before then! I look forward to meeting you all and learning loads about babies and making them! I'll let you into a secret, if we are very, very lucky, we could have twins as they run down both sides of my family! Thanks for reading.

welcome to Mumsnet, good luck with the baby planning and hopefully it won't take to long for it to happen, you'll get great advice from everyone on the conception board!

Beauregard · 27/06/2006 11:04

Hi and welcome
Hope you get your baby soon!

MrsMcJnr · 27/06/2006 11:30

Thank you both! This is fun - I knew I'd miss the chat rooms I used for my wedding so much so thought I'd find a new one right away!

What are your stories? are you pregnant, trying or do you have your family already?

My sister has PSOS but has had 2 boys in 3 years so I guess that bodes well for me (I don't think I have PSOS though but both my sisters do).

Welcome MrsMcJnr.

Join the Positive July thread - I've found it a fantastic life-line.

Got my BFP this morning, so it's lucky too!

hiya mrsmcjnr

just wanted to wish you luck with trying for a baby! ;0)
i was on the pill for 6 years constant without a break and i fell pregnant within 6 weeks!! although i did read you should be careful for the first 3 months to give the pill time to come out of your system..but i didnt.
unfortunately i m/c at 12 weeks but we are trying again for another one so fingers crossed for both of us

Welcome to MNet MrsMcJnr

There's a stats thread where everyone has put their age/ number of children etc. if you want to add your self to that.

I can't do links so I'll 'bump' it up for you to see.

MrsMcJnr · 29/06/2006 14:16

Thank you Coggy, it is really interesting to read that stats thread!
