Hi, I'm new to this form and TTC after a long battle with fertility issues after Breast Cancer at 28 years old. I am now 34 and the only thing that has kept me sane is the thought of being able to conceive when finally finishing treatment.
Anyway...
After having bloods tests (which showed happy ovaries), a scan (which also showed uterus is happy) and 7 lots of acupuncture my periods have finally returned.
They were both quite regular periods and this is our first real month of trying. As I was unsure of if I am ovulating I brought the Clear Blue Digital with Dual Hormone Indicator.
I tested first time on day 11 and had a solid smiley face. I have tested every day since and I am now seeing a flashing smiley face, I have had 6 of these now.
I thought after the Peak things should go down again so why am I still getting Highs.
Thanks in advance
Mandy xxx

Is this the Clear Blue advanced one? I'm confused, because I'm sure once you have the solid smiley that stays up for 2 days?
I've never seen or heard of having a solid smiley then flashing on the CB advanced. I didn't think it was possible?
I'm sure someone else will be along soon to share their thoughts.

Im not surprised this does this. However, you shouldn't use it after your peak sign (if only because you'll be bankrupt within a few weeks! Wink)

Start using it on the day - according to the instructions - depending on your cc,e length (I think 28 day cycle recommends starting on cd8). Then take every day through until you get a peak.

I don't think the results are reliable thought the second ald of your cycle.

*cycle length

I'm a little unsure of cycle length as have only had 2 periods first last 33 days but we had huge family stress this month. Before Breast Cancer and all the hormone drugs I had to take everything was very regular 28 days.
I'm thinking if the solid smiley PEAK was on day 11 i'm guessing ovulation would be day 12/13 or even 14 so this would be a 28 day cycle. Day 11 was the first day I tested so it could be that I missed all the HIGHS as I didn't test early enough.
At the moment I am just so happy that I have had a solid smiley and hopefully ovulated. We have DTD every day for the last 8 days so hopefully we have caught the best day :)
