Afternoon all,

Sorry if there's already a post like this one, I haven't been able to find any in here and only short lived ones elsewhere on the net.
I'm just very confused. I have a very regular 26 day cycle and according to my calculations I OVd around day 13 which at the moment puts me at 14DPO and on CD27. My AF is due today but I have no symptoms of AF at all except mild cramps and pressure in my lower abdomen. Usually I'll start spotting the day before I'm due on with either spotting or pinky/brown tinged CM but I'm due on today and despite my best efforts I can't seem to get anything out but EW/snotty CM.
I've had two BFNs at about 12DPO and one BFN from this mornings FMU.

So far in my 2WW I've had spotting (at 3DPO that lasted for about 36 hours), frequent urination, nausea, heartburn/indigestion (that wakes me up at stupid times in the morning as well as throughout the day), breast tenderness and sensitivity, swinging from hot and cold (mostly being too hot despite normally being a very cold blooded person), cramps, pressure, backache, appetite problems (sometimes can't bare to eat and sometimes can't stop stuffing my face), tiredness and sleepiness (mostly incredibly tired during the day and going to bed at 9pmish but then can't lay-in in the mornings, instead being wide awake by 10am which never happens), and been incredibly snotty the last few days on and off but not got a cold, I've been irritable and emotional too.

Sorry about the essay and thanks in advance for any help :)

Hey. How long is your luteal phase (bit between ov and AF) normally? Just if you ov'd 'around' Day 13 and it was actually a bit later than that, you might not even be late yet. Alternatively, plenty of people don't test positive straight away when they're pregnant. It's taken me till two weeks after AF missed to get a positive before. I know it's horrible waiting, but it's all you can really do atm. Fingers crossed!

NeuroticSweetTalk · 29/09/2013 12:40

My LP is usually 13 days, my only thing I'm confused about is since stopping my BCP in May I've been really regular. The reason I say around day 13 is I've OVd 2 days early before now so I'm not 100% sure I'm 14DPO or more like 16DPO so I covered all my bases this month by DTDing from CD 10 until CD 15 just in case :)

Sorry, what cycle day are you on now?

NeuroticSweetTalk · 29/09/2013 14:17

Cycle 1 of properly trying but cycle 4 since tracking my cycle getting ready for TTC :)

And you're 14dpo? If your LP is usually 13 days and you ovulate on day 13, I'd leave it another few days before testing again as you're quite early - you might have ovulated slightly late, in which case you're testing early, or you might just take longer to get a BFP. If I were you, I'd try to believe that I'd ovulated late and AF would consequently be late - that way, if you get a BFP it'll be a lovely surprise.

NeuroticSweetTalk · 29/09/2013 14:51

Yeah, I suppose, I haven't ever ovulated late it's always been on time or early but if I believe that I ovulated late it might be less of a anxious wait lol :)

Thanks for your help :)

First time for everything. Not trying to put you off - if you're that regular, you may well be pg and just waiting for your HCG levels to be high enough; just think that if you expect AF and she turns up, it'll be less of a disappointment for you. That's kinda how I work anyway! Fingers crossed for you Smile

NeuroticSweetTalk · 29/09/2013 16:47

That is a brilliant way of thinking about it and I can imagine that'll be less disappointing. I'll just be symptom spotting for AF then if it doesn't happen even better :)

My AF is also late and I also have EWCM. What is EWCM a sign of?

NeuroticSweetTalk · 30/09/2013 15:48

I'm not really sure but (TMI) not tinged pink or red so definitely a good sign (:

EWCM usually means ovulation or attempted ovulation.

NeuroticSweetTalk · 01/10/2013 12:40

So what would it mean this late in my cycle :S Sorry that's an absolute newbie question.

I'm starting to get quite frustrated with it all now. I'm never late :(

I think you're (both? I'm confused now who's got EWCM) ovulating late. That would be my guess anyway.

nappyaddict · 02/10/2013 14:46

Have you read this?

dontsqueezetheteabag · 02/10/2013 16:35

I am the same today...... I am due AF today regular as clockwork and all I have is EWCM.

ALWAYS have cramps day before AF arrives and I have nothing at all. No pg symptoms either really. Felt a bit sick last night but put that down to too much dinner!

BFN this morning....

RaRaZ · 02/10/2013 17:20

Are you sure you aren't ovulating late, *Dontsqueeze'? It's unusual to have EWCM for any other reason...

NeuroticSweetTalk · 02/10/2013 17:30

This is probably a beyond stupid question but EWCM is like cooked EW right? So it's white?

OP posts:
jaykay987 · 02/10/2013 18:11

nope neurotic. It's like raw egg white. So jelly like but stretchy and very clear.

LittleTulip · 02/10/2013 18:15

I had ewcm (similar) on days 30/31 of my cycle which confused the heck out of me.. Turned out I was actually pregnant. Also OP all your systems sound just like what my early pregnancy symptoms were!

RaRaZ · 02/10/2013 18:25

Oooh well, fingers crossed then!

NeuroticSweetTalk · 02/10/2013 20:46

Oh right Ra I had the wrong end of the stick then, I just figured because it had the word white in it meant white aha. Mine has been white so I don't know what that means then, there has not been a lot but enough for me to notice when I wipe. And this just in I'm incredibly itchy, my legs, my stomach, my arms...

Oh really Little? See I thought I might be but so far I've had BFNs on IC (up to 13DPO) and BFNs on sainsburys/superdrug cheapies (up to 15DPO) I'm 17DPO now, I think, and have a FRER and a CB digi in my drawer for when I get a BFP on a cheapie to back it up :)

Yeah FX! And for you guys too :)

RaRaZ · 02/10/2013 22:30

Neurotic: If you don't mind sharing, what's it look and feel like? Thick, white, and creamy ie feels a bit like lotion if you rub it between your fingers? If so, it's 'creamy' if charting. That's fertile for some people (those who don't get EWCM or watery CM), but for most it happens in the run-up to fertile time. I also get it after I've ovulated for some reason, usually in greater quantities than before.

NeuroticSweetTalk · 02/10/2013 22:46

I don't mind, it's not really thick and it's in smaller quantities now than before because it only really comes about when I try to push something out to see if I'm coming on. It's whiteish but it's tinged yellowy but that could just be because I pee at the same time. (That was Tmi sorry!)
