I had my egg transfer last Wednesday and things were going well. Had a few symptoms so I thought all was well. This Wednesday my period was supposed to arrive and that's the day I started spotting even though I still have a week to go before I can do the test. . Boobs stopped hurting, stomach isn't bloated anymore. I have now been spotting for a few days. It is not a lot but it is red hence I know what the outcome is going to be. I'm not cramping a lot but it might all change. I have a history of mc hence this is so upsetting. Anyone out there going through a similar thing?

Hi Anya. I haven't been through IVF so nothing to share on that front. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Big hugs

So sorry for the stress you are going through. The only hopefully useful thing I can share from my experience is that symptoms mean nothing and should be totally disregarded when it's IVF because of all the artificial hormones. I had ds naturally before I had IVF to ttc a second child - and so I knew how early pregnancy felt - therefore was utterly convinced the first IVF cycle had worked as I had all the "symptoms". It hadn't. On the other hand, when I went on to have a frozen embryo transfer I felt completely different and was sure there was no way I could be pregnant and yet I was. I really hope it works out for you x

Thank you RebelRebel and Miss Rabbit Rule for your message. Unfortunately I started bleeding quite badly so it is all over for me. I thought that taking Cyclogest will stop my period for two weeks but it didn't. :(
