OP posts:
talulahbelle · 10/11/2013 17:03

Thanks brooker I needed that.
Happily (?) I'm having a few mild twinges/cramps now, and the watery mouth and funny taste is back. I can't believe I'm actually wishing morning sickness would kick in, just so I had something more concrete to focus on.
A lazy day at home today has given me waay too much time to fret - work tomorrow should keep me busy at least.
When are you planning on testing? Holding off until OTD or a bit earlier?

BrookerC · 10/11/2013 17:10

Glad you're feeling worse better talulah x
I'm not planning to test at all. Just wait for the blood test on Friday

talulahbelle · 10/11/2013 17:15

No, I just have to POAS and let my clinic know the result. I wish I could have a blood test for a more definite answer, but I have 2 digital tests that should be pretty concrete. 8 more sleeps to go.

BrookerC · 10/11/2013 17:25

... and counting. I don't feel ready to give up the thought of being pregnant yet. Bizarre I know but as I've never been pregnant this is the next best thing for me. Being PUPO is better than not in my book, which is why I don't want to poas. I flaming well hate the progesterone side effects though. Bastards!
Planning an evening of vegging on the sofa while DH cooks dinner. You?

rabbitonthemoon · 10/11/2013 17:41

Brooker I totally understand the pupo importance, I would feel the same. I really hope you are proved pregnant.

Tallulah sorry the symptom mentalling is driving you doo lally, these days must be really dragging. Keep going.

Bike I'm glad you got your long distance egg Smile

Cupcakes, thanks for your nice words.

Fab I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad.

Well my one follie was 15mm yesterday so hoping it will keep going and grow big enough to go get it. Trying not to think beyond that and the luck we would need to get me pupo. I'd really like to get that far. Val I'm with you on wanting to know either way what is going to happen.

talulahbelle · 10/11/2013 17:41

The same. Maybe with a little bit of xfactor thrown in. I could really go for a glass of wine, but think it's best avoided.

IWantOneNow · 10/11/2013 19:46

Hi brooker and talu. I'm sorry to say that again I've had a day with no symptoms at all Sad. It's really upsetting because I really do think it should be getting some by now (9dpt). Oh well, back to another week of work to ok forward to (not!) but T least that it take my mind off it so much.
Glad ur twinges and symptoms r back talu.
Ur made of steal brooker not to test before Friday! (If u can make it that is Wink ). Good luck with the patience my fellow PUPO-ers!! X

rabbitonthemoon · 10/11/2013 20:34

Want no symptoms doesn't mean you aren't pregnant, I've been on these boards long enough to have known many people who felt no different at all. Hope you are ok Thanks

talulahbelle · 10/11/2013 21:30

iwant don't worry. Realistically all the symptoms I'm spotting are down to the progesterone I'm on and nothing more. It's impossible to know for sure until you test.
Are you likely to test early? When mine arrive in the post I know I'm going to find it difficult not to POAS. Wish I'd ordered some FR now as well as the cheap ones.

BrookerC · 10/11/2013 21:45

val have everything crossed for you tom

rabbitonthemoon · 10/11/2013 22:20

Tomorrow brooker. It all feels very much like I'm holding on by a thread with this cycle..

talulahbelle · 11/11/2013 06:37

Good luck today rabbit I'm thinking of you.

brooker iwant bikes any new symptom menkulling this morning? I've woken up and am having on and off hot flushes, normally my first indicator AF is on her way. All other symptoms pretty much gone. So I'm feeling less positive. Busy day at work today thankfully which should keep my mind off things.

BrookerC · 11/11/2013 07:21

rabbit hope that your follie is where it needs to be today x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/11/2013 10:29

Just a quick message to say good luck for today Rabbit. I'm cheering your follie on from the sidelines.

Val are you having FET today? Sorry if I've missed anything.

IWant I'm just repeating other people but you really never know. I got a BFP from treatment and the only things I noticed I put down to progesterone/AF. There was nothing that stood out for me. My only symptom after the BFP was my boobs where enormous but that was after the 2ww.

Keep strong you PUPO ladies x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/11/2013 10:32

Talulah I missed you post somehow. I'm keeping everything crossed that you will be one of those IVFers that have no symptoms before your BFP.

I wish someone could put us to sleep for the 2ww and wake us up at the end with a nice BFP!

talulahbelle · 11/11/2013 12:09

nocupcakes I can totally agree with that sentiment.

No change here, some things I think might be symptoms then they vanish. I need someone standing next to me saying "It's too early for symptoms" over and over again.

If my tests arrive in the post today I might be tempted to POAS tomorrow morning, stupidly early but I got a BFP (albeit with a twin pregnancy) at that stage last time.

rabbit I hope things are going well for you, I'm only back on here to check for an update. Wink

nobeer · 11/11/2013 13:06

afternoon all! I think I'm going slightly mad. Dreamt about follicles and embryos last night. Very weird!

nobeer · 11/11/2013 13:10

how's everyone else getting on? Got my fingers crossed for pupo ladies and rabbit's follie.

talulahbelle · 11/11/2013 13:40

nobeer you're not the only one going mad... Quietly obsessing over every symptom or lack of them here. 7 more sleeps until OTD for me.

eurochick · 11/11/2013 13:58

Talulah is your OTD a really long time after ET? It seems it.

I had next to no symptoms before my BFP (at 12dpEC). I had lower backache quite soon after transfer (usual for me - it is always my shoulders that hurt) which I had put down to being moved whilst sedated. I started waking up early the morning I tested (I put that down to nerves) and the preggo insomnia worsened day by day from there. Just after I tested, I started getting bloated and my boobs were tingly. But I had next to nothing before I tested.

vallinnapod · 11/11/2013 14:01

Sorry all, phone update so apologies for the lack of personals.

Follicles finally making a burst. A 13, a couple of 12s, 11s and some smaller. Centrotide and menopur starts tomorrow AM and provided all is ok on Weds then EC will be Friday/Sat...crawling there.

Can't remember who had no symptoms but I did not have one PG symptom for my entire PG with DS. Had bleeding up to 10 weeks and no bump until around 5 months. Imagine how mental that made me and he is PERFECT! Grin

rabbitonthemoon · 11/11/2013 14:44

Val glad things are still moving. I reached 17mm today so ec on Wednesday. Didn't think id get to ec. Hope there's an egg in there.

talulahbelle · 11/11/2013 16:45

15 internet cheapies arrived. I POAS and got a BFN. Why am I such a fool? I do feel like this cycle hasn't worked, I just feel hugely well today. Oh well, there's enough sticks to keep testing twice a day for quite a while, and I'd rather have lots of little BFNs prior to it being officially over so it's not so much of a shock.

rabbitonthemoon · 11/11/2013 17:01

I understand that tallulah. It is early days though. Wishing a second line for you.

chocolocodowninacapulco · 11/11/2013 19:18

rabbit great news about your follicle, really pleased for you. What time's your trigger tonight?

fab really sorry to hear about your dad

euro I'm glad you will be around as a cycle buddy. I didn't really want an OTD around Christmas again, as last year was so sad, but I'm not prepared to delay things anymore.

nobeer glad to have you as a potential cycle buddy too.

fish welcome back and glad you are giving things another go.

val glad to hear the follies are going for it.

talulah you're not a fool, you're perfectly normal. Are you not only 7dp2dt? I hear you on the symptom spotting driving you mad. I had so many 'symptoms' last time that I drove myself stark raving bonkers.

bikes how are you doing? Sorry, I didn't mean to put you and cups off the scratch. The good thing is the pain goes away straight after, so It's short-lived Smile.

iwant symptoms, no symptoms, who knows what's real and what's progesterone. I really feel for you, it's torture.

brooks how's your resolve? How are you feeling now?

Nothing interesting from me ... Last pill today, so hopefully I will start feeling less sick soon ... phew
