Brooker I've just caught up too! I want either Frances or the nice Welsh lady to win!

Cysters - will you all take care of yourselves please?!

And you naughty girls cleaning ovens or moving houses, stop it and relax!

Hello everyone else!

I like Welsh Beca too nobeer. Kim's smugness went off the scale for me tonight. I don't mind who wins as long as it's not her

IWantOneNow · 06/10/2013 22:20

I've just ordered some DHEA tablets off the net! I have such low quality eggs and low AMH level that it will be really hard for me to be successful in getting pregnant. So, although again their is a trial at my clinic u won't know if ur taking the tablet or a placebo one. To me I want to know that I'm doing something positive, I don't have time on my side to be wasting 3-6 months if taking a tablet of nothingness! (Quite an old fart I am)! I've ordered it off Biovea.net. I've been reading up on it on the net for a while, has anyone else explored this route? I know it takes 3 months at least to make a difference (if it does at all) so starting now ready for my next round of IVF (not pessimistic just preparing myself in case Smile )

Iwant, check out cq10 600mg tablets too. They're blinkin expensive but meant to be good for egg quality too. Also 3 months is good for it to take effect. :)

Morning All. Lugs i found out at my initial Consultation at the clinic. They had done the lovely dildocam to check my ovaries and it was those results that told them i had low egg reserve. They also did a blood count level blood test, and that showed to have very low AMH count.
Thanks for that tip Stars (slopes off to do more internet searching at work!)....Wink

IWantOneNow · 07/10/2013 13:24

well that's annoying! I wrote a post then flippped back a page to namecheck and it's lost my post! Angry

IWantOneNow · 07/10/2013 14:07

Was going to say that i've found some positive news on the CoQ10 tablets, so going to find some of those too! IVF is expensive, anything that can potentially limit the amount of times i have to do it the better! Smile

IWantOneNow · 07/10/2013 14:07

How are you feeling today Llw2, hope your pains have gone now?....Flowers

Iwant, excellent! I started taking them about a month before last cycle, so I'm hoping by the time I cycle again yell have worked some of their magic! :)

Hey all
I paid for the FET yesterday, bit of an ouch moment, now my savings are back down to zero.
Scan tomorrow to check the thickness of my lining and set the day of transfer. I was still spotting slightly yesterday though so fingers crossed it's a reasonable thickness. Transfer next week sometime then the 2WW begins...
The only supplements I am taking are folic acid and vitamin d. After 3 IVFs with my eggs in the past and every tablet you can imagine I'm glad I don't have to worry about my egg quality. Although I am praying that we get a healthy embryo to defrost and implant. They were perfect going into the freezer but there's only 2 and I'm frightened neither will defrost and we will have nothing to transfer. So stressful.

Llw2 · 07/10/2013 19:03

Girls I'm having a nightmare, I'm trying to open our thread on my MN app and every time I click on it it auto closes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it's still happening. To chat this I've gone through google, anyone else having this problem? I will try and read all your news now but am struggling without my app x

starsandmoonandback · 07/10/2013 22:15

Tally lab, good luck for your scan tomorrow. Hope your lining is nice and thick :)

Llw, I've been having the same problem on my app, which is what I use mostly to post and read. It happened before a few weeks ago, but then just righted itself after a few days. Hope it does the same thing again.

HSG tomorrow. Not looking we'd to it as they so often get the wrong size speculum or can't find my cervix :( fed up of being filled around with a and poked and prodded!

OP posts:
starsandmoonandback · 07/10/2013 22:16

That's meant to say tallulah, blinkin ipad changed it!

wishwash · 08/10/2013 00:12

Good luck tomorrow talulah! I have my fingers crossed for you x

stars you made me wince. It took me right back to Friday when my foof was in pain during ET! I hope the find the right size everything and find that cervix of yours xxx

AFM, going crazy of course. Trying not to do too much at work but it's impossible with people off on holiday and 2-3 year old in general, especially when there's 12 of them. Having aches and pains, trying to think positively without getting my hopes up.... The usual. Aaaaaaarrrggghhhh

BrookerC · 08/10/2013 07:29

Morning ladies!
Good luck today stars with the HSG. Totally with you on the prodding & poking front -it's like your foof's not your own Hmm
wish hang on in there. Completely normal to go dr google/symptom spotting crazy of course. Hugs x
Afm, AF stopped on Sat then started with heavy bleeding yesterday. Wtf?

nobeer · 08/10/2013 07:46

morning talulah. yes paying for ivf is as painfulas the boody injections! good luck this morning.

wish try not to do anything to physical - easier said than done, I know. Hope the aches and pains get lost!

brooker what is going on with you? All sounds most strange and annoying. are you going to ring the clinic?

WannabeMaryPoppins · 08/10/2013 07:59

Morning all,
well the fish and chips went down a treat: www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1897684/ovenbaked-fish-and-chips
IWant of course you can be my BFF Grin. I also have low AHM and egg reserve but my Dr said that it has absolutely no influence on whether you can get pregnant or not. The AHM basically tells them how you might react to IVF and all the stimming. And I got very lucky on my first round of IVF so stay positive!
wish stay away from that bloody ove
llw2 and you do the same. No heavy lifting do you hear?
stars good luck with the hsg
tallulah good luck to you too

And I was thinking. I think we should set up a play list for all the stabbers. Top of my list: Take on me by A-HA. Lots of lovely high notes to belt out when the sting hits you.

AFM looks like the spotting is finally coming to an end but have an appointment on Friday to make sure that everything is as it should be.

IWantOneNow · 08/10/2013 13:12

Hiya Wanabe, that is really interesting. If it doesn't have any influence on getting pregnant or not, then why am i not bloody pregnant after a year of trying! Angry. Like someone else said previously, there isn't any consistency in what the Consultants are telling us all. Do you take DHEA or not, do you have an endo scratch or not, do you do light exercise after ET or not.... very inconsistent. And if they don't know how the devil are we meant to know! Confused..... off to search for music to add to Wannabe's list of stabbing songs! Smile

IWantOneNow · 08/10/2013 13:15

any news tallulah? Nasty things those HSGs, but relatively short-lived pain (for me anyway).. Flowers

resipsa · 08/10/2013 15:45

I have not been a good egg buddy of late and genuinely have no chance of catching up so apologies. Who is PUPO? Who's about to have EC/ET? Any BFPs since Driz? Hope everyone is well.

Special thanks to Halle Berry this week for having no.2 at 47!

After getting to the 12 week mark on my DE waiting list (about which I have bored you all before) today, I bit the bullet and called. I'm a bit of a chicken with chasing things so just emailed until now. As I was giving my (very polite) chase, the woman at the other end interrupted and said she'd just been looking at my details because THEY HAVE A MATCH FOR US! Oh my God, this could be it. Freaking out now...

If anyone reading has had DE treatment, how long was it from start to ET? TIA.

talulahbelle · 08/10/2013 15:55

Hi all
Thanks for the personals - lining scan today looked healthy but thin. I'm waiting for the clinic to decide whether I need another scan or not and if so when they think transfer will be. Stressful waiting!
resipsa I had DE treatment abroad (going for dFET right now) It was very quick, about 8 weeks from 1st drugs to transfer and a lot easier that regular IVF. I got a BFP that sadly ended in an ectopic - I'm hoping for better luck this time. Although me and DH have already said if this one doesn't work out we'll be going for another fresh round next year.
wannabe on my current playlist is the One Republic tune. Great for singing along to.

at everyone else. I better go I really should be working..

starsandmoonandback · 08/10/2013 16:28

Tallulah - hope they say your lining is good to go. Get eating lots of avocados and drink gallons of milk!!

Res, woohoo that's great news about your donor match - 12 weeks was obviously the magic wait time! Good luck with it...another bfp for the thread yay!!

Iwant, hsg was bloody horrible and uncomfortable. Where it's been painful lately was really uncomfortable when she squirted the dye in :-( and the noise of the damn speculum every time she moved it around to get better pictures was awful too! Even she was apologising for the noises! I don't get the results for a couple of weeks but she said she could see something which could be scarring but wanted to compare to my last hsg pics to see if it was likely significant or not...so...another 2ww ;-)

Brooker, how are you? Is your bleeding still heavy? Have you spoken to clinic? Are you DRing now? Sorry memory like a seive!

Hi to everyone else :)
