Grin at the stabbing methods! I clearly have plenty of fat as it was never really an issue! My method was get it out if the fridge 30 mins before and then grab fat, just about anywhere, belly or tigh, depending on what I was wearing, dresses meant leg, trousers belly! And then I just put it in, no ice and rarely an issue!

Everything crossed for PUPO wish!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 06/10/2013 14:17

No helpful thoughts on cysts or spotting for that long! Sorry...

Stillhopingstillhere · 06/10/2013 14:21

It sort of feels sore, it's like the ovulation pain I usually get but a bit sharper. Sort of like stitch but lower down. I've worried myself further by reading that fast growing cysts are more likely to he cancerous! Mine is fast growing, it was not there five weeks ago and now it's huge!

I'm hoping maybe it's hurting because it's deflating but I think this may be optimistic! I can feel it when I press too. Will put up with it until Wednesday and see what the gp says. You could mention the pain when you go for the hsg? It could well be just your ovaries settling down I would think though x x

WannabeMaryPoppins · 06/10/2013 14:23

Hadn't considered that I might have a cyst. Am going to phone the clinic tomorrow now. Thanks for thinking of me stars x

starsandmoonandback · 06/10/2013 14:35

Still, if the pain gets worse before Wednesday I'd call them though. My pain is like ovulation pain too. Stabbing on and off but feel but more intense and has been through whole cycle and more! I think the person who does the hsg is an X-ray person rather than gynae, but could be wrong. I know she writes up a report for my fertility consultant.

Maryp, hope it's not a cyst but best to ask your clinic about your symptoms.

We'll have to set up a cyst support thread at this rate! Lol!!! Grin

Lemon, how you doing? I always injected in my thigh and occasionally it stung with menopur if I injected too fast but never hurt sticking the needle in. I've never used ice either. Just stabbed my thighs as if I was playing darts!! WinkGrinSmile

Stars you could ask them when you have your hsg? I know the fertility treatment can cause them - another concern because even if this one goes away the treatment may cause more!

However I think you can have smaller ones that can cause pain but then just go. Maybe it's that? Or maybe everything is just settling down now? I'm only concerned because the one I have is so big. I can't quite believe it!

Stillhopingstillhere · 06/10/2013 14:46

Oh just read that may not be the fertility person you see - could you ring the clinic and ask if the pain continues?

starsandmoonandback · 06/10/2013 15:00

Still, I'll be seeing consultant the week after or 2 weeks after so will ask the if a problem. It probably is just from tx and actually, the cycle of tx when I had baseline scan I had a cyst which luckily went away on its own before I started Stimms. I'm probably worrying over nothing!! If it's not shrunk on Wednesday will they remove it for you?

Thanks for all of your positivity ladies, it is helping a lot.

Crap still I'm sorry your cyst is causing pain now! you know what they say, it's going to get worse before it gets better. I agree with stars go sooner if the pain gets worse! Don't mess with it, I've had a twisted ovary before.

starsandmoonandback · 06/10/2013 15:12

Wish that sounds very ouchy Confused

I'm feeling light headed and queasy today. I was doing the washing and --cleaning the oven- when I can over all funny. Not good. I'm in bed now

wishwash · 06/10/2013 15:13

Let's try that again...

Bugger

Stillhopingstillhere · 06/10/2013 15:14

The trouble is if they remove it I may lose the ovary. Then we will have severe male factor and I will only have one functioning ovary...maybe we just aren't destined to have more children!

Wish yes, have a rest and a nap. Hope you're feeling better soon x x

Wish I'm the same! Lying on the sofa, my mum is disabled and moving house so I've packed and lifted her whole kitchen today I have low tummy ache now, I'm hoping it's just a bit of stitch equivalent. I really am an idiot!

BrookerC · 06/10/2013 18:17

wish I don't clean the oven under normal circumstances let alone during the 2ww Grin Hope you're now getting plenty of rest & tlc x
Lots of cyst action on here today. Don't forget that they come & go all the time & we wouldn't normally know that they ever existed

BrookerC · 06/10/2013 18:21

Llw that is super naughty! Worse than oven cleaning I might add Wink you need to take it easy now lady!

I wouldn't get the wrong idea ladies, haven't cleaned my oven in such a long time, it was disgusting and I've been meaning to do it for aaaaaaages. Today was breaking point I think! I managed to paint a toilet seat, do 4 loads of washing and clean the oven. I am now under strict orders from DP to stay in bed and he'll cook pizza and chips. Perfect! maybe a sneaky mars bar

BrookerC · 06/10/2013 19:27

Pleased to hear it wish. Well done DP!
I'm just catching up on GBBO. Kim is getting on my 'effing tits! Grin
