Coming off the pill and getting pregnant

I came off the pill three months ago. Normally irrespective of the pill my cycle is really regular, so the first month after coming off it I had a period. Same again the next month. my third period was due on Sunday but nothing yet. I've done a test, two in fact, but they were both negative. I'm not really sure what to make of what's going on. Does anyone have any ideas? Or experienced anything similar? Could I still be pregnant it is it more likely an after affect from coming off the pill?

You could be pregnant, but it could also be pill side effect.

When did you last experience periods whilst not on the pill? Most cycles aren't clockwork and do naturally vary a little.

It took me MONTHS to get any kind of regular cycle back - I think I had bleeds for the first two months, then nothing, then something, then nothing... You could be pregnant, but it might just be your cycles settling down.

I got preggers while on the pill (accidentally) but lost it at 5 weeks

After many consultations with Dr Google I feel like my type of BC pill (combo) had probably thinned my lining so much that it wasn't very hospitable, and my body knew it

So, we waited quite a while (this happened in Jan and I'm in my 1st cycle now) to try again, just to make sure lining was nice and thick, periods got MUCH heavier so I think that's worked

Not trying to discourage you TTC, at all, especially if you have heavy periods, but mine were always mini and I think that was a problem for TTC

Should say, periods always tiny while I was on the pill, which I was for 10 years straight (probably too long!)

I came off the pill in July after 10 years and I've had a 25 and 42 day cycle so far. I took a pregnancy test every week I was late until AF turned up. I know the wait can drive you crazy.
Maybe wait a week and if still no AF test again. You might have ovulated a little later this month.
I'm temping this month to try to work out when I ovulate. FX you get a BFP soon.
