Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

Grin Boo, MrM wouldn't let me buy any more, so I had to make do with 4 Grin

The lovely Nurse is taking a little break at the moment.

We need some new recruits don't we?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/11/2013 10:47

Morning brookers and preggos!

I managed 8 hours of sleep before waking up in a panic that I forgot to do something at work Hmm I've negotiated a finish date with my boss of the 12th jan so I've got 8 weeks left to survive! I've got a week of annual leave in there in 2 weeks as well.

Fox I bet it doesn't feel real! Have you done another test?

Geek that's fantastic news about MrGs DD Grin

Boo I was thinking about nurse too. Hopefully she's too busy being a nurse and having fun to check in here!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/11/2013 11:01

I think we do need some newbies especially as Stacks and Too had the cheek to get BFPs straight away!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/11/2013 11:15

Oh Cups what a nightmare!! I hate it when that happens!! Brilliant news you have a finish date! You can now start crossing the days off Wink

Fox82 · 16/11/2013 11:31

Oh I hope nurse comes back soon!

I tested again today with an ic. Another faint line, but seemed to take longer to appear. I think I'll test at least once every day until I run out of tests Smile I really want to see the lines get darker! And I want to do my next digi in a week to see if the result changes to 2-3 weeks.

Glad you've got an end date cups and hope the time goes quickly! It's nice you've got a week off in that time too.

CakePigeon · 16/11/2013 14:03

fox! Great news that's amazing :)

I'll catch up with everything else later, we are back home now and I'm all poorly and feeling rubbish AND have AF so feeling sorry for myself! Hope everyone else is doing well, Saturday Wine to all!

musicalmrs · 16/11/2013 16:24

Oh Geek that's lovely news about MrG's DD! Bet he's over the moon :-)

Fox congratulations again lovely :-)

Another triple whammy- or quadruple whammy- would be lovely! Who's next to test? Is it Geek with her surprise BFP after hotel swi? Wink I think the next BFP should definitely be an assisted Brooker ( or maybe a surprise bfp for an assisted brooker).

musicalmrs · 16/11/2013 16:28

I've bee thinking about nurse too. Hope she's doing ok.

We do need new recruits! Who do we have here now? Geek, Beedle, Cups, Scarlett, nurse and me.. who have I missed? (I'm sure I've missed many a Brooker).

I've been confusing fertility/charting apps. They're not too impressed that my last AF was August 2011 Grin

musicalmrs · 16/11/2013 16:29

Ooh and you of course Cake!

Fox82 · 16/11/2013 17:52

Thanks cake and musical! Currently sat at my mums trying my hardest not to tell. MUST tell MrF first!

Yes yes, most definitively brooking for an assisted brooker to be next

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 16/11/2013 18:20

Geek, I'm fine, lovely! Just finding it hard to wrestle the laptop away from DH. No symptoms to speak of except for a weird burnt tongue feeling and slightly larger boobs. Not as big as they were on Thursday, though - that was excessive!

So pleased to hear about MrGeek's DD! That's ruddy marvellous.

Grin at Musical and the AF apps.

Brooking for an assisted BFP v soon!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 17/11/2013 09:17

Ooh Fox what time is DH home? You must update us with all the teary details Grin

Morning everyone, how's are you all?

OP posts:
musicalmrs · 17/11/2013 10:47

Ooh yes Fox I can't wait to hear all about it!

All good here thanks Boo. Currently playing the when-could-AF-arrive dance. How's everything with you and your lovely family?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 17/11/2013 11:20

We're all great thanks Musical getting ready for Jamies big 16th this week :)

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 17/11/2013 11:20

Forgot to ask Fox did you manage to not tell your mum?

OP posts:
Fox82 · 17/11/2013 16:46

Hi everyone! Hope it's been a good weekend for you all. I have just got in from work - it was a nice distraction today!

MrF should be home within the next hour! He was there on Friday morning when I was looking at the stick that I'd peed on 24 hours before Blush But I told him as 24 hours had passed it probably didn't mean much and I'd do another one on Sunday. So I think he's going to ask if there's any stick related news, and I'll say "Oh yeah I don't know, what do you think about this one?" and hand him the digi Grin I had to do another digi as the original one ran out of battery - probably as it was out of date - and this one says 2-3 Grin I'm hoping I can convince MrF that means 2-3 babies Grin Grin Grin

Oh and I'm very impressed with myself that I didn't tell my mum, even though we skype my brother while I was there, and also as when we were alone she mentioned the gp results and asked what happens next for us.

musicalmrs · 17/11/2013 17:24

Ooh Boo how exciting! What have you got planned?

Fox, well done on not telling your mum! especially when she was asking about GP appointments etc! Can't wait to hear all about you telling DH Smile

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 17/11/2013 18:22

Ooh, she should have told him by now Grin how exciting!

We've got him an I pad Musical so we're pretty much not going to see him till he's 18 Wink but as it's a school day, we're taking him out for dinner, then letting him do what he wants on Saturday, ending in me and him at the cinema watching Dr Who in 3D.

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 17/11/2013 19:38

Grin hope he's taken it well, fox!!

musicalmrs · 17/11/2013 20:37

Psh. Fox is too busy celebrating to share how it went with us Wink

musicalmrs · 17/11/2013 20:38

Boo, that all sounds lovely!

Fox82 · 17/11/2013 21:18

Sounds like your ds is going to have a wonderful 16th boo! How lovely!

MrF is very pleased! Grin I did as planned (although had to wait for what seemed like ages before he mentioned sticks!!) and he seemed so shocked bless him! He doesn't want to get too excited yet in case something goes wrong, but we've been talking about it non stop. He said he didn't mind that I told my brother first, and he agreed if I'd told him while he was away he would've probably let it slip to his friends Smile

I think we're going to wait another week if we can before telling parents to make sure AF doesn't show as then it'll probably feel more real

musicalmrs · 18/11/2013 11:09

Aww how lovely Fox :-) How exciting about telling your parents soon too. AF won't turn up in the next week, so all will be fine :-)

CakePigeon · 18/11/2013 16:00

really lovely update Fox :) it will be great telling your parents, especially as they know that you had just been for your tests and everything, i'm sure they'll be ecstatic for you

cups how is your 8th week going? do you have plans for your week of leave?

musical have you managed to get a charting app to make sense yet? I'm not charting yet this time round I wanted to take a hands off approach but Mr Cake has already been looking at ordering opk's and pg tests on eBay. I have been really good so far though and not wee'd on anything Grin

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 18/11/2013 16:22

Oh how sweet, Fox! Bet your parents will be over the moon. I'm probably going to tell my mum and sister in a couple of weeks because we have a big family party planned and it would be v obvious that I wasn't drinking. I suppose I should ring Dad after that and tell him too...I did intend to wait until after my scan and preferably nuchal test but I don't think it's going to be practical waiting that long. And we'll have to tell PIL when we go down for Christmas, I expect. Assuming that DH managed to keep his trap shut today and didn't tell BIL when they met for coffee!
