Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

Meant to say, Stacks, I would love to meet up again! How are Fridays for you? It's the one day I'm free during the week. Or Sat mornings?

musicalmrs · 12/11/2013 21:09

Too, it's good to hear you are still bfing too. Even more hope on my side, hurrah! Really looking forward to tomorrow's pee stick Grin

Ah, I didn't say I was as thin as at uni Wink Apparently I can weigh less but still look several months pregnant. How does that work?!

keepitgoing · 13/11/2013 07:51

Hi everyone, am exhausted but just popping in to say bravo mrcups! I agree with everything he said. You didn't test early, it was a loss, did she accept it proved implantation as that's an important step! Glad you get a chance at short protocol, it seems physically much easier. Brooking like mad you can do it over Xmas. Lots of love x

ControlGeek · 13/11/2013 08:35

FRER are grand. The line is so narrow and distinct from the background that there's no room for wondering. If you're seeing it on a Tesco's stick though, FRER should be pretty dark.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 13/11/2013 09:24

This morning the line was thicker, darker and came up faster! Grin DH is now totally convinced. I still might buy a FRER to try I might be going to my sister's tonight, though, and she'd be with me when I went into any shop, so looks like not tomorrow. unless I blow her off and go home instead so I can buy a stick to pee on on the way I peed in a potty (logical, no?) and held the stick in it for at least 10 Mississippis, so it probably absorbed a lot more than when I peed freely.

So, LMP was 8 October, which makes me 5+2, but if I didn't ovulate until 21/22 Oct, does that make me 4+2? Not sure when to phone for a booking appt.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/11/2013 09:31

Oh Too!! Congratulations Thanks. With regards to booking in, depends on your GP surgery. Mine do the first part of booking in with the GP at around 8 weeks, then midwife just before 10 weeks.

ControlGeek · 13/11/2013 09:32

Yay!!! ThanksThanksThanks too - congratulations! Please (please please) get an FRER, I love a good pee stick experiment!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 13/11/2013 11:06

My surgery sends you straight to the MW - you have to phone and make an appointment. I love my community midwife - I have missed her, weirdly! I hope it's still her and not someone else. She did my last booking appt at home, and every subsequent appt unless it involved taking blood. She was incredibly supportive when DD1 was stillborn and so pleased when I called her to say I was pg again. She organised 2 scans for me at 8 weeks and 10 weeks, as well, and advised me to go to a different, better, hospital. I might phone on Friday - don't want to do it from work!

Geek, I shall get FRER for Friday morning, just for you!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/11/2013 11:22

She sounds amazing Too! She'll be over the moon to her from you again!!

I also can't wait for more pee stick action Grin

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 13/11/2013 11:22

Too so pleased for you :) Brooking you get you midwife again.

OP posts:
musicalmrs · 13/11/2013 13:01

Too, congratulations! Grin So so happy for you! Brooking you get your midwife again too. I'm hoping that if when I get PG I'll get mine back - I think she's still working in the same area (she has a car with a cool number plate so v recognisable!), so fingers crossed. I look forward to Friday's FRER Grin

I'd just like to share an ARRGGGGGHHHH at a FB friend who keeps going on about being pregnant, sickness, names, things she wants to buy etc constantly all over FB. I'm struggling with it a little, but I know we have a mutual friend who is really struggling and will be finding it very upsetting :(

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/11/2013 13:41

It's tough Musical isn't it. I think we all know someone like that at some point. Is your friend ok?

And there are no 'ifs' lovely, only 'whens' Wink

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 13/11/2013 14:33

Sad for Musical. I don't think people realise how painful that can be. Would you feel up to gently pointing out that your mutual friend might be finding the constant yapping updates upsetting? And Maybe's right - you will get PG again! Quickly! The power of Brooking is behind you!

musicalmrs · 13/11/2013 17:58

Sorry, I must sound so miserable! I must cheer up!

I think my friends ok Maybe - hard to tell from a distance :( Too -I would do, but I don't know the other friend well enough - and she'd be likely to say "So? That's not my problem". Not the most sensitive! I think other friend has taken her off of her newsfeed for a bit... and think I may be doing similarly!

So, Too, how are you feeling? Symptoms? :)

Stacks · 13/11/2013 17:58

Too Friday is swimming day (though last lesson this week) and my mum is up visiting this weekend. Next Friday would work though, if you're not busy? We could meet at the same place, or find a soft play area?

Musical the 'hide posts from this spammer user' is a lifesaver in those situations. You can in hide them later, and no one is ever the wiser. They're still your friend, their posts just don't show on your wall. You could try that, and make sure your mutual friend knows about it too?

So glad MrCups brought his eloquence and excellent points up for you Cups. Good luck with your next cycle, I hope you can get started ASAP.

Beedle thinking of you, hope you're both well.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 14/11/2013 07:47

Next Friday would be good, Stacks! Shall we look for a soft play? I shudder to think of the havoc M could cause in a cafe.

Musical, symptoms: mouth ulcers. Sad. I feel a bit queasy this morning but not too badly. Oh, and my mouth is constantly dry. Went to DSis's yesterday and stayed night so this morning my boobs are enormous, but that's because I didn't feed M last night/this morning. It's a bit embarrassing, though!

musicalmrs · 14/11/2013 11:29

Too, yick to mouth ulcers :( Heh to the enormous boobs - I was away for work for a night last month, and had to take part in a workshop the next day - having missed a couple of feeds mine too were massive, and bursting out of the shirt I was wearing. Nobody probably noticed but I felt v self conscious!

Took my last pill last night, so as of tomorrow morning I'll officially be a TTC brooker again! Well, 11pm tonight technically. Going to hunt out some good charting apps later- can't remember what I used before (am on Android). Need to find my thermometer too..

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 14/11/2013 15:37

Yay for ttc-ing Brookers! Go Musical and MrMusical!

I keep glancing down at my giant boobs and being a bit alarmed!

ScarlettInSpace · 14/11/2013 15:54

Big public Thanks to geek for possibly being the most generous brooker ever - I have had to entirely re-arrange my bathroom drawer to accommodate the haul of pee sticks that arrived today mainly so that OH won't freak out when he goes looking for a new bar of soap, he sees no reason testing until AF is late, stupid man

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/11/2013 17:21

Woohoo, go Scarlett and Geek and the great pee stick exchange! Other brookers piss sticks are lucky you know Wink

Musical, amazing news!!!

Get those bad boys home Too before you do someone an injury Wink

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/11/2013 06:08

Morning just checking in to see if Too's cracked open the FRER yet!

Thanks Keep, yep she did accept it implanted so that's something. Thanks for the brooking. Hope you are all well. I love Kips name x

Sorry I've not been around much. Work is so busy, I can not wait to hand my notice in. I'm counting down my hospital shifts already! I'm working a late shift today and I'm dreading going in. All week my colleagues have been finishing at least an hour late and have been lucky to get to go the toilet once in 8 hours!

Fox82 · 15/11/2013 18:51

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a good week! (Although shame about such a busy week cups. Hope your late shift goes smoothly)

Big congrats Too! Loving the positive tests on Facebook! And of course the bump pictures! Awww!

I need help from the brookers. MrF is away until Sunday and I'm driving myself mad! Yesterday I estimate I was around 12-13 dpo and did a pg test first thing in the morning. Of course bfn. Then this morning I saw it in the bin and thought I'd have a look for fun, and there was a faint second line. Well this was 24 hours later, so obviously I know it doesn't mean much although it was fun to see that second line! Even though I told myself it's just an evap line it still made a nice change Well I just got in from work and was bursting for the loo. Hadn't been for 10 hours! Shock So thought I may as well do a test. There's the faintest of faint lines on it. I may just be seeing things. Please can someone look at it for me?? I feel like I'm not really seeing anything and just imagining it. Plus I feel like AF is going to arrive any minute Confused

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/11/2013 18:57

That's definitely a line Fox, is that the second test? Did the line come up quite quickly? I would say a cautious YAY Wink

OP posts:
EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/11/2013 19:02

Bugger it, not even a cautious YAY, that's definitely a line! Congratulations Grin

Fox82 · 15/11/2013 19:06

Oh I really don't know! It somehow looks better in the pic than real life Confused I don't want to get my hopes up and believe it could be true. It's the test I did this evening, and that's the line after 5 minutes or so on an ic, and it hasn't got any darker since.
