Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

Yay Beedle congrats on being PUPO!!! The Beedle 2 sound like criminals, I now have an image of two asbo embryos Grin
Sorry I didn't get chance to check in yesterday, I was thinking of you and MrB though.

Hi to everyone else, I've not read back sorry. We have a big inspection at work today. I'm dreading it. Just got to get through 2 double shifts today and tomorrow.

GenericDietCola · 24/10/2013 06:52

Yay for the Beedle 2! Brooking Smile

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/10/2013 07:58

Oooh, yippee for the Beedle 2! What does PUPO mean, please? Is OTD 14 days from yesterday, then?

Loving the weather forecasts - in my part of the UK skies are looking unusually clear, but we'll see! Family arriving tonight - I am going with them to see The Lion King in the theatre, while DH is at home putting M to bed. Creatively silent non-baby-awakening or bed-creaking swi commences tonight...

ControlCreeeaaak · 24/10/2013 08:18

48 ICs
7 FRERs
7 Morrisons Own
3 Superdrug
1 Clear Blue Plus
1 Clear Blue Digital

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 24/10/2013 08:19

Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise Halloween Smile Loving the weather watch Too Halloween Grin and good luck with the silent non creaking swi tonight Halloween Grin

BeedlesPineNeedles · 24/10/2013 08:20

Thanks stacks but I have a fair few IC plus a FRER from olives :o

cups I also thought that the beedle 2 made them sound like criminals my poor babies already branded criminals before they've even implanted Halloween Grin Good luck with work.

too PUPO means pregnant until proven otherwise

musical only 3 weeks left to wait , does MrM know that you're counting down the days Halloween Grin

I don't think MrB will really hide the tests he's just scared about me testing early, we've been told twice by the clinic not to bastards
So OTD is the 7th and I'll be away for 2 days with work on the 6th and 7th. So if I test early and its negative we'll be apart from each other feeling really crap, and it seems really unfair to test when I'm away from him in a hotel room (possibly sharing with a colleague Halloween Shock ) So I reckon that evening testing at 17dpEC with a FRER (when I get home) should give an accurate response. The clinic have already said its ok not to phone them on OTD

BeedlesPineNeedles · 24/10/2013 08:22

geek did you just know how many you have or did you have to check? Halloween Grin

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 24/10/2013 08:28

I think Geek has a spreadsheet with these thing on Beedle Halloween Grin

ControlCreeeaaak · 24/10/2013 08:40

beedle what a nightmare about testing. Your plan is a good 'un though. How are you feeling?

I don't have a peestick spreadsheet and had to count everything apart from the ics, which I know I've only used 2 of. In fact, on my last cycle, I didn't use a single stick, not even an icov or cbfm stick!!! Halloween Shock to be honest I was a bit surprosed how many I jad until I rememberrd I've already started stocking up on frers for testing out my trigger.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 24/10/2013 09:08

I also thought that there might be a spreadsheet boooo Halloween Grin

I'm feeling OK thanks geek still a bit bloated but lesss than last time. Might be because I'm less constipated, I had stocked up on prune juice in advance Halloween Grin
The doc scanned one of my ovaries yesterday (it was in the way!) and we could see that all the follicles had refilled with fluid, she then spoke a bit about the symptoms of OHSS. But they didn't do this last time, so I'm wondering if this was just standard (but that they didn't do it last time as the dr wasn't confident enough about how to say everything in English) or that she was worried I could be affected, though it seems fairly unlikely with just 9 follicles.

keepitgoing · 24/10/2013 12:47

I prefer pregnant UNLESS proven otherwise - that's more in the brooking spirit!

beedle glad you're feeling ok. Just keep drinking lots of water. I think it'd usually be standard to talk about OHSS risks. Maybe last time your follies hadn't filled up anyway. Just keep an eye on yourself for the next few days; I'm sure it'll be fine - as you say some people get hundreds of follies. But you have three perfect embies. I think your plan sounds like a good one, apart from one thing - that you had EC on Monday, so you should be able to test with a high degree of confidence 14 days after that, which is the 4th, ie before you go away!!

geek that's a lot of tests even for you... How did you feel going a month with any poas-ing?! Did you get withdrawal symptoms? Oh, I meant to say before, how lovely that you are going to see MrG's son!! So pleased that things are progressing there - just fab!

oh musical i see what you mean. I thought you'd stopped the pill and were still waiting for AF to come back. Hopefully it won't take you any time to adjust anyway. Every 2/3 days sounds like a good plan, and not too exhausting...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 24/10/2013 13:31

You are absolutely right keep we would probably get the correct result on teh 4th but I think MrB thinks that I jinxed it last time by testing early and then almost immediately started spotting (i'm not sure what he thinks you do with a pregnancy test - perhaps I should explain that it only involves pee :o ) Plus he's really quite stressed about other stuff at the moment so maybe the extra few days of believing I might be pregnant will be nicer even though I'll be climbing teh walls desperate to test

geek I also meant to comment on your well-timed night in a hotel. I hope the meeting goes well and MrG is up for the SWI

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 24/10/2013 14:57

Can't believe I forgot to comment Geek how fantastic that you have both been invited to see Mr G's son Halloween Smile that's great!! Also loving the idea of a hotel stay on your ironic cycle Halloween Wink

ControlCreeeaaak · 25/10/2013 14:10

beedle I'm sure they just gave you the information as a precaution - from what I've read, OHSS is actually pretty rare, particularly in its life threatening form, mostly because people are given really good advice as standard these days (drink loads of water etc) and know what to look out for to catch it early if it does start. Hope the prune juice is working for you!

keep I know - most of them are leftovers from my last IVF round. I won't be bothering with using any brand until I have a decent line on FRER in future. I'll be sticking to nothing but FRERs for testing out my trigger on my next cycle, hence building up my stock slowly since they're not cheap. Going through a cycle without sticks was easier than I thought it would be! I still temped because I like advance warning of when AF is due but because I never started peeing on sticks I didn't have the withdrawal symptoms that I normally do after ov. I'll be putting my CBFM on ebay next week, get some pennies for more FRER packs Christmas.

musical whohoo you have a plan and you are getting close to starting!!! Perhaps you can do a stacks Halloween Grin

Thank you, lovely ladies, for your encouraging comments about the welltimed hotel and meeting MrG's son. I am shockingly nervous about it! To take my mind off it, I am hoping to meet up with a fellow brooker or two whilst I'm out and about on my holiday travels Halloween Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/10/2013 15:06

Don't be nervous lovely Geek! This is such a massive step for you both, especially compared to where you were this time last year!! How is MrG feeling about it? Is he all recovered from his run in with the spider? And pray tell who are you seeing Halloween Grin

How you doing Beedle? Hope that crinone is being kind.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 25/10/2013 16:49

Ooh geek are you coming to foreign lands to se me? Halloween Wink
I'm sure it is just a precaution, it was just a bit strange that they didn't say anything last time.

maybe the crinone is ok so far, I think its working as I have really sore boobs. I'm just trying not think about how much buildup I'm going to get with a double dose [boak]

Now its the weekend, is anyone doing anything interesting? you c

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 25/10/2013 17:33

I'm back, my lovely phone is home and I am happy Halloween Smile and they have updated it with all new fancy stuff Halloween Grin I am a very happy boo!

A brooking meet up you say Geek and which attractive, witty and extremely charming Brooker are you meeting Halloween Wink Now, don't be nervous about meeting Mr G's son, you're lovely and he will see that maybe practice your evil step mother cackle just in case Halloween Wink

Beedle brooking my arse off for the Beedle 2

Not up to much here over the weekend, but it is half term now so we're pacing ourselves Halloween Wink

keepitgoing · 25/10/2013 17:43

I'm going to be mostly sleeping

ControlCreeeaaak · 25/10/2013 18:07

Oooh beedle if only! Both MrG and I have expired passports which we keep promising to renew. I'd love to see Sweden, especially in the snow (you are in Sweden and it does snow right?) Hope the crinone is treating you gently and not building up too much. Do remember to have a periodic clear-out as recommended by one of the websites linked to last time Halloween Grin

booooooooooo that'd be sparks then Halloween GrinHalloween GrinHalloween GrinHalloween GrinHalloween Grin ooooh yes and I'm meeting up with you too bwahahaha

thank you maybe it does all feel very quick! MrG is all over his spider bite now, the scab finally fell off yesterday (lovely!) and the colour's almost back to normal. And 'tis our very own sparks and boo that I will be meeting with, and hopefully also meeting booby and twinks for the first time How are you feeling now? Are the meds still working?

keepitgoing · 28/10/2013 11:12

beedle how are you doing?

What other rat smacking news? Hope everyone had good weekends

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 28/10/2013 12:52

Hello everyone!

Beedle and Beedle2, divide and stick, divide and stick!

Geek, MrToo and I also have expired passports that we keep resolving to renew and then finding better things to spend £77 each on. Have a lovely time meeting Sparks and Boo! I'm sure MrG's son will be v nice - I know I'm coming to this late, but how is it that you haven't met before?

Rat-smacking here was halted due to copious amounts of alcohol consumed by me, plus DD deciding that she didn't like her cot being in our room and she would much rather sleep in our bed, firmly attached to my nipple, plus the extended family staying. Back on the horse now, though, and I didn't see any signs of ovulation at the weekend so maybe it hasn't happened yet. I hope.

Fox82 · 28/10/2013 14:20

Oooh good luck with the rat smacking Too! Wink

I need help from the brookers! Got the results of my day 3 and day 21 bloods today! The receptionist said all is normal (yay!) But I got them to print out a copy of my results after advice from a brooker (maybe??) to make sure they really are ok! So can anyone she'd some light on the following results? I have no idea what most of it means!

Serum follicle stimulating hormone level (XM0Ix) = 7.6 iu/L
Serum LH level (XM0Iv) = 6.8 iu/L
Serum progesterone level (XE2dq) = 75.3 nmol/L
Rubella lgG level (XaEPB) = antibodies to C.trachomatis

Fox82 · 28/10/2013 14:29

Well I've tried to add the photo but don't know if it's clear enough to read? Confused So if anyone has a go at having a look and it's not clear let me know

keepitgoing · 28/10/2013 14:38

Hi fox - to some extent you have to look at your own lab's reference values as they can vary. maybe was burned as they told her the sperm count was low, when it was none - slight differnece! It's helpful to have the print out as once you start trawling around the place they don't always have them... And just to check they really are normal. However, you have a normal FSH, which tends to mean good egg quality and reserve, I think over 11 is thought to be an issue. You want your progesterone over 30 to have shown ovulation so that's great. You have normal LH too. The haemoglobin is only just above the reference value, so I wouldn't worry about that. I had estradiol taken on day 3 as well, didn't they do that one?

What about DH's sperm sample? Once you have that as well I would make another appointment with the GP as you should be looking at your referral to the fertility clinic.

It's good that they have found nothing wrong - though I always in a way wished they had found something minor that they could then have fixed easily...

keepitgoing · 28/10/2013 14:39

Note, I have no medical knowledge other than having been through all this... :)
