Almost 10 years on Cerazette, want to conceieve #2 - CONFUSION!!

I'm very new here to mumsnet. I am 37 years old, I am an American living in Germany almost 10 years now. I did join some American forums, but found the experience rather unpleasant, as the women seemed very uptight and unfriendly. Plus, not too many people there are familiar with Cerazette!
I believe its been around 10 years that I was on Cerazette. I had some bleeding in July and again two weeks later with a horrible backache (similar to when I had a MC). I have not been the best pill taker out there, so I got a few bleeds here and there while on Cerazette. I did go off it for a bit last year, as I was thinking of conceiving then, but decided to wait a bit, so I went back on. Sept 7th was my last day of taking the pill. By Sunday I already started to feel some cramping (which is kind of odd for me to cramp before a period, usually only do it when I started to bleed) and by Monday (the 9th) I was sure AF was going to show, but she never did. On the 8th I had some quick shooting pains in my right ovary and dismissed it, as oncoming AF. By the 10th the cramps stopped and and I started to get EWCM, which was more heavy on the 12th. So we decided to give things a go anyway. Since then I got tons of cramping a week later, bits of nausea, really sore nipples (even more so after taking off bra), bloating, tiredness, metal taste in my mouth (especially while eating), only want to eat eggs, weeing a lot, etc.
The other day even though too early I decided to poas and there was ever so a faint line. Now further tests do not show this, but I still have a strong feeling they may be wrong. Today I still feel slight cramps and my breats feel heavier.
DH and I do it daily and since that one night after the heavy EWCM, my body feels like it got what it needed and the sex drive has lowered, tho we still do it.

I made a general appointment at my OBGYN for the 26th to discuss with her about my plans and I am really anxious.
I am wondering, could I really be pregnant or could my body just be going insane from coming off cerazette?

bump - could really use some advice here. have googled my head off to no avail, all I find is women who have only been on it a short time.

Should note that now nothing tastes right to me. Used ever so amount of lemon juice in dinner tonight and all i tasted was metally lemon.

I recently came off cerazette and had many of the symptoms you describe especially breast tenderness, cramping and random abdominal pains.
Don't take this the wrong way but I think you should try and relax a little- why are you so anxious?

Did you have the weird food tastes as well? That is my main concern as I cannot really eat anything except for eggs. :(
I am anxious because there is a lot to talk about with her and the last time I went off birth control before talking with her she got a bit angry with me, but I suppose that was because back then I was not sure about another baby. Nothing major anxiety wise, more worried about her reaction than anything else.

Didn't notice weird tastes.
It isn't her job to be angry with you and if she makes you feel in any way uncomfortable then change your doctor.

Met with the doctor today and nope not pregnant. She said I probably have more symptoms now coming off it than before due to me being on it longer this time around.
She also prescribed me Mastodynon, to help regulate my cycles again and take away my breast pains.
Cerazette, really some evil sh*t! Never going back to this pill again. :P
