If that's the case mrsb I'm buggered I'm up at least twice per night for a wee! And I'm not even pregnant yet!

MrsB, it has for me! I've been waking up loads of times, but as long as I'm still half asleep when I take my temp at getting up time, it stayed super regular.

I read on here somewhere that temping was not for folk who get up in the night?

Notta, they say you need 3 hours of sleep before taking it, and it needs to be within the same 20 minutes or so every morning, but for me as long as I took my temp when I was still half asleep at roughly the same time each morning I was fine, even if I'd gotten up to pee less than 2 hours before. My pre ov temps stayed within 0.1 degree Celsius of 35.85, before dipping 0.3 and then rising about 0.6 degrees. I took my temps any time between 6 and 8, though mostly close to 7:20, but none of it made a big difference.

Only think that really effected my temps was that I got drunk at a wedding and the next morning my bbt has risen a whole degree!! So alcohol will throw it off way more than getting up to pee.

Hi ladies, ive been away for a few days with no WiFi access and this thread has totally left me behind. I see a few new bfps since I was last around, congratulations!

I'm currently cd27, only ov'd on cd20 and already feeling all the usual pre af twinges, and have been for a couple of days, since 5dpo. Feeling pretty gutted and not at all hopeful. Don't think I'm going to bother testing unless af hasn't shown up by the end of the weekend as am certain it will be bfn, but I think I'll get af by Saturday anyway. Will be keeping an eye out for all of you testing on Fri, got my fingers crossed for you all. Good luck x

Wispa - thanks for the info. So wine plus peeing in the night and regular night wakibg will prob not help? I am a light sleeper - damn cat wakes me up regularly and i also get night terrors .... so wake sometimes with that or get very agitated sleep.

So temp has to be taken at the same time each day? Is there a big difference in temp if you do conceive?

You learn so much on here, before ttc I just thought come off the pill and see what happens, now I'm turning slightly crazy like everyone else lol

Another bfn for me this morning, despite now being 2 days late and having none of my usual preaf signs. Used a cb so trust it but it does mean I can now take drugs for my stinking cold. And good news the vits have lengthened my cycle.

Mrsb - temps if you conceive do not necessarily form the same pattern. The main use is to confirm ovulation.

Sorry to hear about the bfn, purple. I do know someone who got BFNs all the way until 18dpo when she finally got a positive. You might have a lower natural level of hcg in your system, which would make it take longer to kick off, and sometimes an egg will just hang around for a few days before implanting, so you really never know. Also, clearblue tests have a higher threshold for hcg, and if you want a brand name test, the first response are the most sensitive.

My temps have continued to go higher generally, whereas I think they would go up, stay up for a couple weeks and then drop down for AF, though sometimes they stay elevated for the first few days of the cycle... Apparently if you continue to temp in early pregnancy you an see a mc coming as you temp will suddenly fall as no progesterone will be being made anymore.

That said, I've stopped temping.

I need some bfp news this morning. I'm off to Croydon for my intimidating immigration interview to be (hopefully) granted leave to remain in the uk as the spouse of a British citizen. Studidly expensive this to do, and they ask the most ridiculous questions. Fore example: have you ever committed war crimes? Have you ever committed genocide? Have you ever done anything to suggest that you may not be a person of good character?

I'm still holding off testing, but temp still up today which is feeding my 'I think I'm preggers because ...' addiction! It was this many dpo last cycle that I got AF, however I'm not sure last cycle really counts as was first after mc so was a bit mucked up. Oh I really am going to be fed up if I'm not. Nothing I can do but wait though I guess.

Any other testing news this morning? We need some more bfps on the bus!

My test was a cheapie from savers, think it said it detected at 25 hcg, is that high? will be near Boots/Asda later, if af keeps a low profile may crack open the purse, any recommendations??

Thanks cheesy I caved this morn as af usually comes CD24/25 and as today is CD26 I got myself sl excited, in fact woke up at 4am and was so tempted to get out of bed to test there and then but so glad I didn't now

Onelife superdrug tests are very reasonable price wise and detect 10 hcg I think. I have them and clear blue digi which I think are 25 as well.

If I count when I think I ovulated as 0 dpo then I'm 11 dpo today so holding out until Friday when I will be 13 dpo. Is that right or is the day you ov counted as 1 dpo? Ah whichever I'm testing Friday anyway.

Only one more morning to resist poas (or in a pot)!

Hi ladies, you are not going to believe this. My D(dickhead) H actually threw away my pee. That I had hidden in the bathroom at 4.30 this morning grrrrrrrr!!!! To make it worse he hasn't even acknowledged he did it, just kissed me goodbye. Wtf?!

Had to poas using non fmu and BFN again.

In other news, one boob is very tender, not nipple tho weirdly!!
