Its four weeks since i started my last bleed (from the pill) and i haven't taken the pill since so am waiting on my first period. Been on the pill 14 months, since my six week check and then was pregnant before that so it's a while since i've had a 'real' period.

TTC and have the following symptoms:

had achy ovaries around two weeks ago
tingly nips for about a week
lots of weeing last week
second cold in a week and runny nose
just had metalic taste in mouth, like pregnancy vitamins, the iron taste

period not arrived yet.

I have pregnancy tests coming from Amazon tomorrow but what do you think?

Hi shelter, I'm on month 2 after bc had crazy symptoms last month but af arrived. Ovaries hurt like hell last month. How many days dpo are you??

I think 13 so I could be. Just not into a cycle yet as so soon off the pill. It was the iron taste tonight that made me think I was.

My DD was a happy mistake so I've never had to do the symptom spotting before. Driving me nuts!

My daughter was aswell, we'd just bought our first house together an in the middle of rubble and dust I found out I was pregnant, so I'm the same, this whole cycle watching and opk'ing is strange, I've been pill free 2 months, had my normal bleed just after the end of the packet, I've been using opk, last month had very clear ovulation pains which I've beer had before even before my daughter. But I think it wa due to coming off the pill, major need to use the loo, some sickness. This month nothing. I'm now 14days dpo according to opk. Which I think is about right as I had some brown coloured cm at the same time. My period is due Wednesday. I took a pregnancy test this morning which was negative. So I'm not going to do one again until Wednesday/Thursday. I would wait until af is due or after, if your not able to get a pregnancy test as easily, don't waste it. Are you getting any af symptoms?? X

Sounds like you are exactly the same as me with dates, I also moved house when I found out I was pregnant!

Lots of AF pains today, cramping and bloating do I shall be in knicker watch all day! What about you, any signs?

No af pains, I've been bloated all week, but I'm bloated all the time eat too much crap, lol af due tomorrow, I'm exactly the same, every time I go to the loo I'm looking for anything!! Keep me posted!!! We may end up with babies due in the same day, lol. Wishful thinking x

I'm in agony. Defo think it's AF and it's painful as not had a 'proper' one in so long.

Setting myself up for AF coming I think. Won't be too dissapointed as pleased I've had a normal AF do soon after coming off BC so can start to chart properly. If I am coming on we'll be on holiday when I ovulate next so plenty of time to DTD.

What about you, did you do it at the right time this month?

We're in holiday aswell when I'm next ovulating, lol to weird!! Well according to opk yes I did, luckily a few days before and four days after. But strange month this month, had another LH surge a week and a half later, had to ring clear blue to check what was going on, I tested all month just out of curiosity, she said could be pregnant, could be a mal function, or I should go to the doctors as I shouldn't have two LH surges in one month, strange, still bit feeling like much is going on, I usually have sore boobs for a week before af and I have two quiet days, can't wait for tomorrow now!!! Today will just drag!!! X x

Lol how funny! Where are you going. Does sound strange. This waiting game is just awful.

I'm hoping to test tonight if my Amazon order has arrived. Should wait until the morning really but I'm too impatient. Will probably say negative anyway but until I get the actual AF rather than jut the signs, still in with a chance!

Lanzarote on the 14th haven't been anywhere for over two years, so looking forward to some time out with the family!! How about you?? Yeh I'd rather have af than impending signs that it's on its way!! I'd wait it may well come out negative in the evening, fmu is always better. If you've only got one test, if you've got two then go for it. But like you said, were lucky it's only been a couple of months, think us be tearing my hair out if it was 6+ months x x

I got pregnant on the first cycle off of the pill. It took quite a long time to ovulate - I was testing a LOT in the end so got an early BFP at 9 days I reckon from my due date. This was 7 weeks into the cycle.

We go to Portugal on the 12th. Family holiday will be great. We're taking the inlaws so I'm hoping for lots of mummy and daddy time!

I've got 20 tests arriving tonight so will be able to use one and again in the morning if I don't get the result I want. AF pains seem to have gone now which I guess is good.

Can'tthink did you have AF type pains?

You'll need the mummy and daddy time, it's good to remember why your there thiugh and how much you live each other as by the sounds if things you can end up feeling resentful, oh lovely, well no in laws for us, just hoping it wasn't like 2 years ago, we ended up in separate beds me in the living room and him in the single bed next to Ella. Lol no typical af pains last month and I haven't got any now either. Before I had Ella didn't have any af signs, about three years after I started to get signs every month, sore boobs, moody for 2 days, I was only on dianette for 4 months, for hormone reasons, but decided time wa right to try to concieve, long story. So stopped taking it in August at the end if the pack. Just two months in ha a normal period at the end of last month, x x

I didn't test tonight as had some brown discharge this afternoon and when i got home my ptests hadn't arrived (argh).

The discolouration now seems to have stopped but to be honest i really think its my AF starting. I guess i'll know more tomorrow.

My period usually arrives mid afternoon, I don't know what to do for the best, wait and see and do it Thursday morning or do it first thing, it may well be just some spotting due to early pregnancy, don't give up until she arrives x x

Oh gutted!!! My hasn't but negative test this morning!! Argh!!!
